中国離宮
前回はドロットニングホルム宮殿の中国離宮の歴史と
離宮の１階の部屋についてでした。
この階は離宮2階と分館についてです。

狭い階段を上がると八角形の部屋にでます。
2階の中心部には、正面に(北側)に面するこの '八角形の部屋' と南側に面する'楕円形の部屋'があり、王室のプライベート居住部分です。
両方の部屋とも特別な音響効果があります。
それは、部屋の端でささやいた声がもう１つの端でも聞こえることです。

Chinese Pavilion First Floor
I went up the narrow stairs, I came to an octagonal room.
I went up the narrow stairs, I came to an octagonal room.
In the centre of the first floor, there is this 'Octagonal Room' facing the front (north side) and the 'Oval Room' facing south, these were the private quarters of the royal family.
Both rooms have special sound effects.
That is, a whisper at one end of the room can be heard at the other end.

楕円形の部屋
1770年のイングリッシュチッペンデールのマホガニーの椅子は、
最初は階下の青い客間でディナーに使用されましたが、
最近ではこの部屋に移動されました。
Oval Room
The English Chippendale mahogany chairs from 1770 were first used
in the Blue Drawing Room downstairs for dinners,
but more recently they were moved to this room.
12枚の絵画
12枚の絵画が部屋の周りに均等に展示されています。
これらは中国の逆鏡画で、
さまざまな楽器を演奏する女性を描いています。
Twelve Paintings
Twelve paintings are evenly displayed around the room.
These are Chinese reverse mirror paintings which
depict ladies playing different musical instruments.

"Confidencen" (信頼 : 内緒話)
この建物 : Confidencen"は、ダイニング・テーブルと配膳テーブルを下の階から
持ち上げることができました。
ダイニングルームのハンドルを引くと、下の給仕エリアにベルが鳴り、
キッチンスタッフがすでにテーブルの上に置いた食べ物を持ち上げ始めます
召使なしで、食事ができるため、秘密裏に食事ができました。
' En confidence 'は、「お互いに信頼できる場所」を意味します。
"Confidencen"
In the "Confidencen", the dining and serving tables could be lifted
up through the floor of the dining room.
At the pull of a handle in the dining room, a bell would ring in the serving area below and the kitchen staff would start to hoist up the food
which was already laid on the table.
(It is stage lift method, isn't it?)
This meant that the royals could eat dinner without being served,
thus remaining private.
'En confidence' means ‘a place where you can confide in each other’.

残念ながら一般観光客は中へは入れません。
私達は、帰りのフェリーの時間との兼ね合いで、
中を覗くこともできませんでした。

Unfortunately, general tourists cannot enter.
We couldn't even look inside
because of the time of the return ferry.

Lower Floor ; Kitchen with oven and fireplace.
昇降機の装置
現在も機械は維持され機能もしているとのことです。
Elevator Device in Mezzanine.
The machinery has been preserved and is still working today.
