1) オランダのコロッケ / Dutch Croquettes
オランダの伝統料理や食べ物をリサーチした時に、'コロッケが美味しい'、と知りました。
ぜひ、オランダ滞在中に食べたいと、食いしん坊の私は思ったのです。
コロッケは、人気で、自動販売機でも販売されていると聞いていましたし、実際に売られていましたが、私が販売機を見た時には私はお腹が空いていませんでした。
夫のRは玉ねぎが食べられないので、大体のコロッケ(玉ねぎ入り)は食べられません。
なので、私だけがコロッケに執着していました。
訪ねたカフェやレストランでは、コロッケがなかったり、注文したのに違うお料理が出てきてしまったりと、何かと食べる機会を逃していました。
この日、ついに、コロッケを食べられる機会を得ました。

Dutch Croquettes
When I researched traditional Dutch cooking and food, I knew that croquettes were delicious.
I am a glutton and wanted to eat croquettes during our stay in the Netherlands.
Croquettes are popular and I heard that they were also sold from vending machines, and indeed, they are, but when I saw the vending machines I was not hungry.
My husband, R, can't eat onions, so he can't eat most croquettes (includes onion).
So only I was obsessed with croquettes.
In the cafes and a restaurant we visited, there were no croquettes or different dishes came out even though I had ordered, so I missed out on eating croquettes.
On this day, I finally had the opportunity to eat croquettes.

オランダ語なので、詳しい説明はわかりません。
Shop Brochure
Although it is fast food, it is summarized in an atmosphere like
a luxury restaurant (or shop).
The brochure clearly explains the owner's claim.
I do not know the detailed explanation because it is in Dutch.
 私はビーフコロッケを注文したく思っていました。 オーナー兼コックの男性が2つのベースががあることを英語で説明してくれました。 それぞれ1個づつ注文しました。どのように違うか....忘れちゃいました！(すみません) I wanted to order beef croquette. A guy, owner and cook explained in English that there are two types. I ordered one of each. How are they different? ... I forgot! (I'm sorry) |

たくさんのトッピング
コロッケは2つのタイプなので、トッピングでバリエーションをつけるのですね。 まあ、ベースは2つですが、中身は魚、肉、野菜のみなどの作り分けがあり、 コロッケの種類としては8つ用意しているようです。 Many Toppings There are two base types of croquettes, so they make variations with toppings. Well, there are two bases, but the contents are made of fish, meat, just vegetables, etc.

オランダの伝統のコロッケではなく、モダンタイプなのでしょう。

柔らかめの中身なので、'コロッケ'というよりも
マッシュポテトに牛ひき肉が入っているという印象でした。 日本のコロッケはもうちょっとホクホクしています。 やっぱり、伝統的な丸いコロッケが食べたい！
Because it was soft, my impression was that beef mince was in mashed potatoes
rather than 'croquettes'.
Japanese croquettes are more crispy and have more texture.
After all, just I want to eat traditional round croquettes!

私達は8月5日にオランダ入りし、滞在記のユトレヒトに来ました。
到着した日の晩に、カフェが立ち並ぶニュー デ (Neude) 広場に来ました。
その日は、"Cafe 't Neutje (カフェ・ト・ニューチェ)"でビールを飲みました。

この日は、滞在場所へ帰る前に、"Cafe Le Journal (カフェ・ル・ジャーナル)" に
寄りました。

We entered the Netherlands on 5th of August and came to Utrecht for our stay.
On the evening of our arrival, we came to the Neude square where cafes are lined up.
That day we had a beer at "Cafe 't Neutje".

味は詳しく覚えていないけれど (笑)、どちらも美味しくいただきましたよ〜！

We wanted to drink a non-Heineken beer.
Vedett was a beer from the same Belgian brewer as Duvel : Duvel Moortgat.
Glass : Neude Beer
Draft beer with the name of the Square.
I don't remember the details (laugh), but both were delicious!
