とにかく、ほとんどのギャラリーが閉まっていました。
私達がアントワープ滞在していた時期がギャラリーの営業時期に即していなかったのか、通りを歩いている時間がそうだったのか、曜日がそうだったのかわかりません。
Anyway most galleries were closed.
I do not know whether it was that the season when we were staying in Antwerp that galleries were closed, or if it was the time of day I was walking in the street, or the day of the week.

残念ながら、どちらも閉まっていました。
'Veerle Wenes'は閉まっていても、電話をすれば開けてくれるかもしれないと言われていましたが、私達の予定が決まっていなかったし、滞在前半は携帯電話が使用できなかったしで、結局行くことができませんでした。
Unfortunately, both were closed.
Even
though 'Veerle Wenes' was closed, she said that it might be opened if
you call them, but our schedule was not decided and R could not use
his mobile phone in the first half of our stay so I could not go
after all.
