ハカニエミ・マーケットホール
建物は Karl
Hård af Segerstad (1873
- 1931) が設計し、1914年に開業しました。
100年以上の歴史があるのですね！ 2階建ての建物でに約70店舗が入っています。
1階は食料品関係が、2階はお土産品や手工芸品のお店が入っています。

私はその映画は見ていましたが、ロケ地のひとつがここであることを訪ねたときは気がつきませんでした。
庶民のマーケットがここであるとガイドブックで読みました。
訪ねてみると、観光客で賑わうエテラ港にあるマ "オールド・マーケット・ホール"と比べると、なるほど、そんな感じ...でも、私達のような観光客も結構訪れていました。
私達は、"ハカニエミ・マーケット・ホール"を2回訪れています。
(なのでこのセクションの写真は晴天の26日と曇天の28日が混じっています)
1度目は、スオメンリンナ島 (要塞)へ行った後、そのときは営業時間に間に合わず、建物だけを撮影しました。

2度、訪ねたのは、私がこのマーケット内のデリカテッセンの'シラッカ'
(バルト海のニシン : タイセイヨウニシンより小さい)
を炒め揚げた(ソテー)
'シラッカピフヴィ
/
Silakkapihvi 'が食べたかったからです。
2度目は営業時間に間に合ったのですが、'シラッカピフヴィ' は食べることができませんでした。
シラッカは、シーズンオフで (シーズンは春) または、'2017年捕獲規制' (参照 ; 'Catch Limits, 2017) で....はっきりした理由は私にはわかりませんでしたが、とにかくその時は、店頭にはありませんでした。
似た魚 (ムイック/ Muikku?) は、あるというので、私はそれを食べました。
のちになって、最近、バルト海の魚の汚染問題がおこっていることも知りました。
政府からは、若い女性、妊婦、子供は食べないように、または回数を減らすように 'お達し'が出ているそうです。
他の人は自己責任で食べなさいということらしいです。
以前は大量に取れていたニシンにも捕獲規制が出たり、汚染問題がおきていたり、環境は刻々変化しているのだと感じます。

was opened in 1914. It has been for over 100 years, hasn't it?
There
are about 70 shops in two floors.
The shops on the 1st floor sell foodstuffs and the 2nd floor shops ; souvenirs and handicrafts.
"marimekko" is really everywhere......seagulls, too.

I
heard that the hall was one of the locations in a film, "Kamome
Shokudō" [2006 / Director : Naoko
Ogigami (1972 - ) / Original novel : 2006 / Yoko Mure
(1954 -) / Gentousha],
so here became popular for Japanese tourists.
Although
I had watched the film, I did not notice about it when I visited
here.
We visited the Market, indeed its feeling was like that compared with the "Old Market Hall" which was crowded with tourists, however, a few people including us were tourists here.
We visited the "Hakaniemi Market Hall" twice.
Our first visit was after Suomenlinna, when we arrived here, the Market was closed, so I just photographed outside.

I visited
twice there, because I wanted to eat 'Silakkapihvi' from the delicatessen on the ground floor in the Market.
'Silakkapihvi'
is 'Silakka's
Saute', 'Silakka' is a type of herring from the Baltic sea which is smaller
than Atlantic herring.
We
got to the Market before closing time, although I could not
eat 'Silakkapihvi',
because they did not have any 'Silakkapihvi', because it was not Silakka's season
(the season is spring) or see 'Catch Limits, 2017' ...I did not understand
enough.
They
said they have similar fish, so I had it.
Later
I found out that nowadays there has been contamination of fish problems in the Baltic sea.
The
government advised that young women, pregnant women and children should not eat
or at least reduce the number eaten.
It
means that other people only eat responsibly.
They could catch a lot of herring (or sprat) in the days gone by, although now there are 'Catch Limits, and there are contamination problems, I feel the environment is changing every second.

美味しさもいまいち....
期待していたので、ちょっとがっかりでした。

マーケットのあとにアテネウム美術館へ行く予定があったので、
生鮮食品は買えませんでした。
We had a plan that we would visit the Ateneum Art Museum after the Market,
so we were not able to buy perishable food.
