3月24日、我が家の庭 / Our Garden, 24th of March

ヒヨドリ
ヒヨドリは、1年中、家の周辺にいるのかもしれませんが、
春になると庭でよく見るように思います。

Brown-Eared Bulbul : Hiyodori
Brown-Eared Bulbul might be around our house all year,
though I feel I see them more often in Spring.

鳥の足
初めて足の部分に目に止まりました。
うまくできているな〜と思います。

Bird's Legs
The bird's legs first catch my eye.
I am impressed that they are well-developed. 

バス停への道 / On the Way to the Bus Stop

いつも白い花に惹かれます。
I am always tempted by white flowers.

ソメイヨシノ開花
家の前の桜 (ソメイヨシノ) はまだ開花していなかったのに、
角をひとつ曲がった道沿いの桜はすでに開花していました。

Yoshino Cherry Blossms 
The Yoshino Cherry does not blossom in front of our house,
although other Yoshino Cherries have  already blossomed which are 
only one corner turn away from our house.

 Today's Prints
They are close to my image so I am pleased!


こちらはアルミ版の一版目。
これから数版重ねる予定です。

They are first printed by aluminium plate.
I am going to add more prints a few times.

私もですが、工房の他の皆さんも、通常アルミ版を使用しています。

石で刷る場合は、印刷機をアルミ版仕様から石仕様に組み替えなければならないと知りました。

プリント台は70Kgもあり、それをY先生一人で動かさなければなりません。

他の皆さんが夏休みのときに、石の版の制作を集中してすることにしました。

Normally people, including me, use aluminium plates.

I found out when we print from stone, a print machine must be changed over from aluminum plate way to stone way.

The print holder is 70Kg, Y Sensei must move it himself.

I decided when other people have summer holidays I will concentrate on making lithograph works with stones.
