『スペー ドの3』

興味はありつつ、機会を逃して読んでいない朝井リョウの本は、下の3冊あります。
1)『桐島、部活やめるってよ』(2010 / 集英社 / 朝井氏デビュー作)
『スペー ドの3』を読み終えて、上記3冊への興味は失せつつあります。
『スペー ドの3』は、3章 (下記) で構成され、主人公 (視点) は、各章で違いますが、登場人物は関係しあっています。

第3章) ダイヤのエース
執拗に、女性心理と行動が書かれ、ホラーかと思わせる怖さを読み始めに感じました。
私にとっては、主人公の悩みまたは物語そのものが興味をひかず、克明な描写に対する恐怖が先行し、もう、読むのはやめようかと思いました。
ですが、読み始めましたし、本も購入しましたし、取り合えず、読了しました。
結果、ホラーではありませんでした。

それぞれの女性たちの転機が明るめに描かれているものの、私にはとってつけたような転機で、手放しで良かった〜！とは思えませんでした。
それぞれの女性の転機、または転機の機会の象徴として、トランプのカードを章のタイトルに使用しています。
登場人物たちを冷静に分析した書き方が、'科学捜査'を思わせます。
近年、国内外問わず人気の科学捜査ドラマで使用される '科学捜査' への私の印象の '科学捜査' です。
科学捜査方法に好奇心を感じるものの、そこには美がないのです。
捜査には美はいらないけれど、文学 (小説) に美は必要と私は思います。
朝井氏は意識的に美を廃しているのかもしれず、それが作家の美学なのかもしれませんし新しい感性なのかもしれません。
違う言い方をすれば、現代社会が彼の作品を望でんでいるのでしょう。
絵でいうところの、スーパーリアリズム のおもしろさが物語に加味されているのかもしれません。
そこにパパラッチ感覚が盛り込まれてもいるように私には思えました。
読後に、作家が男性であることに、驚きを感じる反面、納得をした部分もあります。
『スペー ドの3』は、作品そのものも、書き方も私の好みではありませんでした。
私には、'デジタル'すぎますが、デジタルの世の中では、朝井リョウは、'時の人' なのかもしれません。

I am interested in the three books of the author's works below which I haven't read.

The first book I finished reading by Ryo Asai (1989 - ) was "The 3 of Spades" (2014 / Kodansha).
After reading "The 3 of Spades", my interest in reading the three above has waned.
"The 3 of Spades" consists of three chapters below, each has different main characters, although they are connected.
Chapter 1 : The 3 of Spades
Chapter 2 : The 2 of Hearts
Chapter 3 : Ace of Diamonds
The writing is about women's minds and actions with detail analysis and I felt terror and early on I thought this was a horror story.
I did not feel interested in the women's anguished hearts or the story itself and just my fear about the rest of the story made me decide that I would not finish reading.
However, anyway I had started reading and I had bought it so I finished reading it.
It is not horror.
Even though in the turning points for each main character, the women are described as being brighter, however, for me the endings are contrived, so I did not easily feel good.
Chapter titles use card's names as symbolic of each woman's turning point or chance of turning point.

The way of writing analyzes the mentality and actions behind each main character which reminds me of 'scientific crime detection'.
I mean this is my impression of 'scientific criminal investigation' used in a popular scientific criminal investigation drama both inside and outside Japan in recent years.
I am interested in the methods of 'scientific criminal investigation', although I do not find beauty in.
In my opinion, criminal investigations do not need 'beauty' but literature or novels do need 'beauty'.
The author might deliberately exclude 'beauty' and this might be his beauty and this might be a new sense.
In other words some people might appreciate his works.
The story might have the level of detail similar to Photorealism (Super-Realism) in the Art World.

Moreover, a sense of paparazzi seem to be incorporated into these stories.
After reading I found out the author is a man and I was surprised, although I did then understand some parts.
The work and the writing of "The 3 of Spades" are not my favourite.
This might be too digital for me, although the author might be fashionable at the moment in the digital world.
