ウィンブルドン パーク / Wimbledon Park
お天気が良かったので、Rの家の近くを散策しました。
It was a lovely day, so I walked from R's house.

| 行列ができる公園 ここはウィンブルドンテニス選手権が開催されるときに 人々が行列を作る場所です。 泊まり込みの人はここにテントをはります。 2015年は、6月29日から開催。 この日から４日後、なので、すでに杭うちなどがされて準備は始まっています。 The Queue in this Park Here, when Wimbledon Championships opens people make a queue. Some people camp over night in tents here. In 2015, the first day was 29th of June, so it was 4days later from this day, so they had already started preparing, for example, temporary posts. |

バンブルビー！(マルハナバチ)
私はこのハチが好き！ ほかのハチは怖いけれど、このハチはよくお話にでてくるせいか 親しみがあります。 有名な「クマンバチの飛行 / Flight of the Bumblebee」 [リムスキー・コルサコフ / N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov (1844 -1908) 作曲]も、
本当は「マルハナバチの飛行」です。

| 左 : コブハクショウ / 右: オオハクチョウかコハクチョウ? 白鳥(属) が カモ科 だと初めて知りました。 ガチョウとは縁がありそうと思っていましたが、カモもお仲間だったのですね〜。 Left : Mute Swan / Right : Whooper Swan or Tundra Swan? It was the first time I knew Swan is one of the Anatidae family, the Duck family. I thought swans and geese might be in the same family, although I did not think Ducks were your companions too! |

| ガチョウか雁か、サカツラガンかも？ 英国はサカツラガン生息地域ではないけれど、この鳥の見た目が似ています。 ウーん、でも嘴の色が違うのですよね〜。 ハイイロガンでしょうか？これが一番近いかも？ この手の鳥は、日本語でも英語でもいろいろな呼ばれ方をされています。 Goose or Chinese Goose or Swan Goose? Britain is not the habitat of the Swan goose, although this bird's appearance is similar. However, the beak colour is different. Is this a Greylag goose? This might be the most likely. The kinds of these birds have many names in English and Japanese. |

| 湖で見かける白鳥型の船や足こぎボートは、これをデザインしてるのですね〜！ We can see swan-style ships or pedalos on lakes which are designed like this, aren't they? |

| セーリングもできるようです。 People can go sailing. |

| テニスコートもありますが、ここはあのウィンブルドンテニス選手権の コートではありません。 左には、こどもが遊ぶための噴水もあって、賑わっていました。 There are tennis courts, however, these are not for the Wimbledon Championships. On the left, a playful fountain is for children and there was crowded. |

| テニスギャラリー ウィンブルドン パーク駅のそばにテニスギャラリーがあります。 普通のお店で、公式なギャラリーではありません。 私は一度も足を踏み入れたことがありません...。 The Tennis Gallery The gallery is close to Wimbledon Park Station. The gallery is not a public building, it is a normal shop. I have never visited there. |

| エマニュエル イングランド教会 / Emmanuel Church of England この教会のそばは時々通っていたのですが、 名前を今、初めて知りました。 Emmanuel Church of England Sometimes I walk past this church, now I have just found out the name. |

| 教会の入り口 メインの入り口は別にあります。 でもこれはドワーフの家っぽいので撮影。 Church's Entrance Main entrance is on another side. However, this is like a dwarf's house, so I photographed. |
