GaLa はモンゴル語で火や炎という意味、英語で祝祭、さらにスペイン語では
歓楽、それぞれの国で賑やかし的な意味があるのは面白いです。
ちなみにチェコ語ではフォーマルドレス....これも特別な何かって感じですよね。
( チェコ旅行を企画していたので、チェコ語に興味があったのです）
After walking in Yamate, Yokohama, H&TJ couple took us to a Mongolian cuisine restaurant : "GaLa" for our dinner.
Gala means a fire or a flame in Mongolian, celebration in English, and pleasure in Spanish.
It is interesting each language has lively meanings.
By the way, its meaning is a formal dress in Czech ... something about this has a special feeing too, doesn't this?

| 室内は "ゲル" 店内は、モンゴルの伝統移動住居 "ゲル" に見立てられています。 もしくはこれは本物のゲルを組み込んでいるのかもしれません。 私は"パオ"と覚えていたのですが、現地では"ゲル"のようです。 Inside is "Gel" The inside of the restaurant is made to look like a Mongolian traditional portable house : Gel. They might have put in a real Gel. I remember 'Pao' for Gel, although people call Gel.  天井 / Celling |

| 馬頭琴? 馬頭琴 (バトウキン) でしょうか？(写真がぼけててすみません） 馬頭琴といえば、『スーホの白い馬』、この話には泣きました.... Morin khuur? Is this a Morin khuur / horsehead fiddle? (My photograph has no focus, sorry) Speaking of a Morin khuur, a picture book ; "Suho's White Horse" is a Mongolian legend which is quite popular in Japan. I cried reading this story → ★

| ただのきゅうりが美味しそう... お店の人は入っていないと言って出しましたが、 Rの苦手なガーリックがほんのりしています。 Rは食べられず気の毒ですが、私には美味しい.... 後から出てきたお料理の写真撮影は、食欲に負けて忘れてしまいました。 よくあるパターンです(笑)。 Just Cucumber looks delicious... The shop staff said it does not include R's hated ingredients, although it smelled slightly of garlic. He could not eat, sorry to him, however, I really enjoyed. My appetite let me forget about taking photographs of a few later dishes. This happens very often (laugh).  |

| モンゴルの民族衣装： デール お客さんはデールを着てて、モンゴルの雰囲気をより一層楽しみます。 Rもかなり似合っていましたし、本人もご満悦のようでした。 青色のデールは格が高いと言われているそうで、 それをお店の人が彼に着せてくれました。 Mongolian Folk Costume : Deel Their customers wear Deel and they enjoy more Mongolian mood. R suits a Deel and he looks with great delight at himself. They say blue colour shows high class and the staff let wear him the colour. |

| TJ は、あまりにも似合いすぎて、現地の王そのものでした。 そこに西洋の客人Rを迎えての祝宴？という晩になりました。 Hさんと私は衣装は着ませんでしたが、他のお客さんは全員来ていました。 みなさん、とても楽しんでいたよう..... TJ suits his Deel very well, he looks as though he really is a local king. And then he has his Western guest, R, so the night is a banquet... Only H San and I did not wear costumes, although all other customers wore them. Everybody looked like they were enjoying wearing... |

| モンゴルのお茶 : ツァイ このお茶はノンアルコールですが、 私は馬乳酒 (バニュウシュ)を思い出しました。 Mongolian Tea ; Suutei tsai This is non-alcohol, although it reminded me of Kumis. |
山手散策も、モンゴル料理も、H&TJカップルと過ごした時間も、とても楽しかったです。
彼らにリトグラフ作品を個展の時 ( 2015年4月10日〜19日 / 下記) に購入していただきました。

I really enjoyed walking in Yamate, Yokohama, the Mongolian cuisine and the time with H&TJ couple.
They bought one of my framed lithographs in my exhibition (10th ~19th of April in 2015: below).
