北鎌倉の東慶寺 / Tokeiji Temple in Kita-Kamakura

東慶寺 
1903年から、東慶寺は男僧のお寺ですが、その前の約600年間は尼寺でした。

また、縁切寺として知られていました。

今日(6月1日)、母と姉と私は、ただお花を見にやってきました。

私はここへ来たのは二度目です。

良い事か悪いことかわかりませんが、下記のようなストリートビューでお寺の中が見られます。

Tokeiji Temple
The temple has been for monks since 1903, although it had been 
a nunnery for about 600 years. 

And also the temple was famous as the divorce temple.

Today (1st June), my mother, my sister and me visited just for the flowers. 

This was my second visit.

I do not know if  it is good or bad that you can see inside of the temple using  this : 'street view site':

このお花は終わりの時期
左にちらっと庭師さんの足が見えます。
This flower is at the end of its season.
On the Left of the photograph, 
you see the gardener's leg a little bit.

 鐘楼 / A Bell-tower
鐘はつけません。
You can not ring it.

今は、ここの方が明月院より、あじさいが咲いています。
For now, hydrangea blossoms here more than  in Meigetsuin. 

こどもの頃、実家の庭に白いあじさいがありました。
他のあじさいは色づくのに、ずっと白のままで、不思議でした。花も大きくて、かたつむりも、大きくて、とても印象に残っています。

その私のあじさいは、この白いあじさいと種類は違うと思います。

When I was a child,  my house's garden had a white hydrangea. 
I wondered why other ones changed their colours, although our white hydrangea never changed. 
And also the flowers were big, the snail as well. 
The hydrangea image remains very strongly in my mind.

I think my hydrangea image is different from this one.

野の花もかわいらしい
Wild flowers are lovely, too.

鎌倉はさつきはもう見られないけれど、ここでは咲いていました。
I could not see azalea in Kamakura, although here still blossoms.

 

ハナショウブの時期にはまだ早い。
むこうに見えるのは茶室です。
Now is too early for iris.
The tea ceremony house is over there.
