４月に私が個展を開いたピン

ポイトギャラリーでお世話になった鈴木真実さんが、鎌倉駅前のカトレアギャラリーで個展(5月6~12日)を開きました。

When I had my exhibition at Pinpoint Gallery in Tokyo, Ms Mami Suzuki helped me as one of the gallery's staff. She had her own exhibition at Katorya Gallery in Kamakura 6th~12th May.

彼女は４月にも東京（奥沢）で個展をしましたが、私の個展の時期と重なってしまい、行けませんでした。今回、初めて彼女の絵を直接見る事ができ、彼女の作り出す世界を楽しみました。彼女のセンスもご本人も私は好きです。

“鎌倉うきうき”という個展のタイトルも素敵！展示された絵もほんわかした優しい色あいで、絵にユーモアがあり、幸せな笑いをひきだしてくれます。でも、ちょっとどきっとするような？アイディアを盛り込んだ絵もあります。サイズ的には小さいですが、見ていると自分の中で物語がひろがっていく"Elephant"(象）という作品を買わせていただきました。

She had had her own exhibition in Okusawa in Tokyo this April, although I could not go there, because at the same time I had my exhibition. So this was the first time I could see her original pictures. I really enjoyed her world. I like her sense and herself. And also I like the title of her exhibition : Kamakura Uki Uki : Kamakura Up Up (floating).

The pictures' colours are warm, some pictures have a light humour. Although some other pictures make us a little bit scared, when we look more carefully at them.

I bought a picture : "Elephant"

which even though it is small, I see a wider story behind it.

初日に伺いましたが、カメラを忘れてしまい、携帯のカメラで撮りました。つい最近、携帯のカメラで撮影できるようになったという私。世の中の進歩になかなかついてゆけませんが、ついてゆく必要もないかとも思い、私は私の必要な分だけ進歩的な技術？と折り合いをつければ良いかと思います。これも友人の助けがあるからこそ言えるのかもしれません。

I visited there on the first day with my boyfriend:"R". We left our camera at home, so I took photographs by mobile phone camera. Really recently I can use mobile phone as a camera. I find modern technology difficult. I think I do not have to use the latest new toy, however, I do gradually learn techniques useful for me. I could say like that, maybe I can have a lot of help from my friends, when I need it. Thank you to my friends.
