スターズホルメン島

ガムラスタン (旧市街) はこの島にあります。
黒の楕円のラインがストックホルム宮殿です。
建てた要塞がありました。
それはトレー・クローノル城 (Tre Kronor ; "3つの王冠") になりました。

Gamla stan (Old Town) is on Starsholmen Island.
The black oval line is the Stockholm Palace.
A fortress was built on this site by Birger Jarl (c.1200 -1266) in the 13th century.
It became Tre Kronor ("Three Crowns").

Stockholm Palace
I heard that it takes a day to visit the Stockholm Palace in Gamla stan, at least half a day.
After arriving in Gamla stan (on Starsholmen Island), we couldn't have time to visit the palace as we were leisurely sightseeing.
Still, we had the opportunity to see a changing of the guards.
Later we visited Drottningholm Palace the private residence of the Swedish monarch as well as it is a World Heritage Site.
I will post about Drottningholm Palace in a later section.

ストックホルム宮殿
(スウェーデン語: Stockholms slott )
ストックホルム宮殿は、スウェーデンの君主
西、南、東、北の4棟から構成されています。
今なお元来の用途に使用されている宮殿としては世界最大のものの一つです。
王宮は609室の部屋があり、現在の国王一家が
1981年に郊外のドロットニングホルム宮殿へ転居するまで
ここで暮らしていました。
13世紀半に建てられたトレー・クローノル城は、
17世紀に火災で焼失してしまいました。
現在の建物は、18世紀に建てられたバロック様式の建物です。

Stockholm Palace
(Stockholms slott in Swedish)
The Stockholm Palace is the official residence of the Swedish monarch
[currently Carl XVI Gustaf (1946 ~ / reign: 1973 ~)]
and consists of four buildings: west, south, east, and north.
It is one of the largest palaces in the world still used for its original purpose.
The Royal Palace has 609 rooms and was lived in until the present Royal Family moved to the suburbs of Drottningholm Palace in 1981.
Tre Kronor, built in the 13th century was destroyed by fire in the 17th century.
The current building is in a Baroque style which was built in the 18th century.

様々な観光場所は見学時間が終了、お土産やさんでさえも、そろそろ店じまいという時間でした。
ストックホルム大聖堂と王宮の西側を眺めつつ、移動。
偶然、衛兵交代を見る機会を得ました。

After Rest Time
It was around pm 5 o'clock after taking a break in the cafe, "Kaffe koppen" in Stortorget.
About the cafe is the previous section, below.
Various tourist spots were closed, and even souvenir shops and so on were about to close.
We moved while looking at the west side of Storkyrkan (The Great Church /
Stockholm Cathedral) and the Royal Palace.

By chance, we had the opportunity to see the changing of the guard.

After passing through the Stockholm Cathedral,
I saw the half-moon wing to the south west of the Palace.

国王を象徴しているという西ファサード。 半月型ウィングに囲まれている、この中庭で衛兵交代が行われます。 Map ❷ The western facade represents the king.
The changing of the guard takes place in this courtyard

衛兵交代が始まるので、観光客が何人か集まってきました。

| メインの交代式は、軍楽隊やパレード付きで 昼に大々的に行われるのだと思います。 それでも、私はこの交代式を十分に楽しみ、満足でした。 I think that the main shift changing is held in the daytime with a military band and parade. Still, I enjoyed this version and was happy. |
