1) 最終日 / The Last Day

旅行の最終日に、"カフェ サヴォイ / Cafe Savoy" に行きました。

フライト前に、ここでカフェ ミールでもと思っていましたが、いえいえ、もう、

ちゃ〜んとしたお料理で、少々びっくり！

でもお店では "カフェ メニュー" 扱いなのです。

私のリサーチが足りなかったかもしれません。

チェコ旅行の中で、飲食店では、ここが一番良かったです。

サービスも、食事も、ドリンクも、内装も、好ましいものばかりでした。

また行きたいです。

The Last Day

I went to Cafe Savoy on the last day of the trip.

I thought of eating 'cafe meal' here before our flight, surprisingly they serve full meals, though they only say cafe menu.

My research was not enough about the cafe.

This is the best in restaurants and cafes in this Czech Trip.

I like their service, dish, drink, and interior and would visit again.

2) 窓 / Window

窓辺 / At the Window

アール・デコかと思いましたが、ネオ ルネッサンスらしいです。
I thought the design was Art Deco, although it seems that it is Neo- Renaissance.

3) 屋内 / Inside

創業当初からのネオ ルネッサンス様式の天井
From their beginning the celling is Neo-Renaissance style.

綺麗！明るい！
店内にはいると品の良さが感じられす。
けれども気取りすぎることはありません。
スタッフも礼儀正しくありつつ、フレンドリーです。
美しく高い天井がつくる空間も含めて、素敵。
居心地が良いカフェです。

Beautiful! Bright!
After entering the cafe, I felt refinement.
However, it was not affected. 
The staff are polite and friendly.
Moreover the beautiful celling made the space lovely.
The cafe is comfortable.

奥の部屋にはワインボトルらしいものがインテリアとして使用されています。
Wine bottles seem to be used as decoration in the inner room.

4) Eat and Drink

ピルスナー ・ウルケル
エレガントな空間でビールは、ちょっと合わないかと思われましたが、
チェコで飲む最後の機会なので、ワインよりもピルスナー ・ウルケルを
選択しました。
このビールの歴史 (1842 -) は、このカフェ (1983 -) よりも長いのです。

Pilsner Urquell
I thought that beer does not suit such an elegant space, 
although this was our last chance of having Czech beer so
we choose Pilsner Urquell rather than wine.
This beer's history (1842 -) is longer than this cafe (1983 -). 

パフォーマンス
私が注文したのは、 "サヴォイ プレート/ Savoy Plate" 
４種類のお肉を少しづつ食べられるのです。
テーブルに運んでからソースをかけてくれます。
このようなちょっとした工夫から名店らしさを感じます。

Performance 
I ordered "Savoy Plate".
We can eat 4 types of meat.
After bringing to a table they pour sauce on the plate.
I feel their high quality from many small details.

下ごしらえがきちんとされていて綺麗
野菜は小さいサイズのロメインレタス / Little Gem lettuce。

R's Grilled chicken breast

Their preparation is precise so it is beautiful.

The vegetables are Little Gem lettuce.

サヴォイ プレート
左から、 焼きウサギ、豚の脇腹肉、プラハハム、豚の脇腹肉、コンフィ鴨脚。
日本でこんなに違うお肉がひとつのプレートにあるのを見たことがありません。
すご〜く、美味しかったです。肉の文化〜〜！

I have never  seen a few different meats on the same plate in Japan.
This was very delicious. This is a land for meat

ガーリック味！恋しい味でした。
美味しいよ〜。シクシクシク(嬉)...。

Garlic taste! I missed the taste!
Delicious! Sob (joy)....

これから少したまねぎの臭いがして、結局 R は食べられず、
私が食べました。幸せ！

R smelled onion, he could not eat, and I ate it. Happy!

マッシュポテト...ここではポテトピューレ
これも、繊細です。

私、どれだけラフな食事をしてたり、料理をたりしているのかと、
ほんの少し反省....。

Mashed Potato, here called Potato purée, this is delicate.
I felt just a little self‐examination because I felt how rough my meal or my cooking.

⓳ -a) チェコ旅行 / Czech Trip, 1) カフェ 2軒, Two Cafes, 18th of June, 2015

1) ベイクショップ / BAKESHOP

プラハのホテルでは朝食込みでの予約にしませんでした。
観光地の中にあるので、どこかのカフェかレストランで
朝食をとりたいと思ったからです。
本日は、ここ、"ベイクショップ /  Bakeshop"、
焼きたてのパンが食べられると聞いていました。

We did not book with breakfast in our Prague Hotel,
because we were in the centre of Prague,
so we could have breakfasts in different cafes or restaurants.
Today, we chose "Bakeshop", we heard we could have freshly baked bread.

ここです〜！/  Here it is!

住所 / Address : Kozí 918/1, 110 00 Praha 1-Staré Město

このお店は地元の人々に人気があるようでした。
観光客は私達くらいかなという印象でした。
それでもサイトは英語版もあるので、やはり観光客も結構訪れているのでしょう。

This shop seemed to be popular for locals.
 When we visited there my impression was we were the only tourists.
However, their website has English, too so that tourists must come here.

Rはこのクロワッサンと右上の甘いパンを食べました。
とても美味しいと言ってました。

R had this croissant and sweet bread, top right.
He said they are very delicious.

私の朝食もしくはブランチ
焼きたてのパンを期待してここにきたのに、
エスニック系のものが結構用意されていたので、
そちらに惹かれてしまいました。
味のバランスが良く、繊細さも感じ、ちょっとびっくり！
と書くと、チェコの方に失礼でしょうか？すみません。
ベイクショップ、また行きたいです。

 My Breakfast or Brunch
I was looking forwards to fresh baked bread and came here,
although I found they have quite a lot of ethnic food.
The balance of tastes is good and I felt delicate, so I was a little surprised!
I say like this, it is rude for Czech people, sorry!
I would go to "Bakeshop" again.

R は上のパンとサラダ付きサンドイッチ。
R has bread (above) and sandwich with salad.

カウンター席から
ひとつひとつ小さな石のブロックを詰め込んで行く工事。
箱が木製で素敵。柵がチェコ国旗 (下の画像) の色で可愛い。

Seen From Counter
Each tiny stone will be fitted.
The wooden boxes are good.
The colours of the railings are the same as the Czech National Flag (below), lovely.

可愛い袋は誰のため？
チェコの人々は犬ととても親しんでいて、
都会の犬達は非常によくしつけられています。
ここにも犬のため、またはオーナーのための袋が用意されています。
ということは、マナー違反のオーナーも何人かはいるということでしょうか？

Who are the Lovely Bags for?
Czech people are very familiar with dogs and urban dogs are trained well.
Here, for dogs or their owners, little bags.
So maybe a few owners lack manners?

2) Cafe Slavia

Cafe Slavia / Kavárna Slavia
昭和時代 (1926 - 1989) のモダンなカフェという印象でした。
My impression is of a Modern Cafe from the Showa Period (1926 - 1989).

席数は500席あるらしく、私達が行った時は8割くらい、

お客さんがいたように思います。

ウエイターは常時、忙しそう、でも、プロフェッショナルに見えました。

一度注文を聞いたお客さんが担当になるらしく、

彼らがお客さんを選んでいるように見えけられました。

They seem to have 500 seats, when we visited there I felt 80% full.
The waiters looked very busy but they seemed to be professional.
Once they take our order only they can serve us, 
they also seem to select their customers.

チェコの伝統的なカフェはチップが必需と何かで読んだので

このカフェでチップは渡す気持ちでいました。

けれでも、ウエイターが忙しすぎて、担当のウエイターが支払い時に

席に来てくれないので、他の人に払おうとしました。

その人も担当者に渡すように促すので、

R がレジまで行って担当のウエイターを見つけて払いました。

サービスは良いのか、悪いのか、さっぱりわかりません。

彼らに気を向けられればそれなりに対応してもらえますが、

彼らに無視をされると日本人は、もう、嫌な気しかしないように思います。

I have read somewhere that tip is necessary at a traditional cafe in Czech,
so we would tip a waiter in this cafe.
However, the waiter was too busy, when we could leave there, he did not come t o 
our table so we tried to pay another waiter.
But that waiter suggested we should pay the first waiter,
 so R went to their counter, found our waiter and paid. 
I do not know completely if their service is good or bad.
I think if they consider customers they could treat us well,
 although if they ignore Japanese, 
the Japanese could not help feeling bad.

私達は、ここで食事はしていないので、お料理のことはわかりません。
Rは通常のカフェラテ(右)、
私はオレンジとコアント ロー入りのカフェラテ (左)です。

We did not have meal, so I do not know their meal.
R has a normal cafe latte (right) and I had one with Cointreau and orange (left).

私のは美味しかったし、ここのオリジナルな味のように思えました。
なので、R はちょっと羨ましそうでした。

Mine was delicious and I felt original to here.
So R looked a little envious to me.

あっ！NHKの車！と思いましたが、日本のTV局のものではなかったのでした。

Look! NHK's Car! I thought like this,
although it is nothing to do with the Japanese national broadcaster : HNK.
According to Wikipedia.

ウ メッドヴィッドクー / U Medvídků (小熊の家)

ウ メッドヴィッドクーは、醸造所であり、
バー、レストラン、ホテルえもあります。
伝統チェコ料理もいただけるということで、
観光客にも地元の方々にも人気があるようです。

Here has a brewery, a bar, a restaurant and a hotel.
They serve traditional Czech meals and are popular for tourists and locals.

タ・ファンタスティカ 劇場 の"Aspects of Alice"を見終わって (下記)、
　食事に出かけました。
ここは劇場からもホテルからも歩いて行け、
夜の上演が終わった後に行っても食事ができました。

We saw "Aspects of Alice" at TaFantastika (below) and wanted to have a meal.

We could walk from the theatre and our hotel to "U Medvídků".

Even after the evening play we could still have a meal here.

禁煙席をお願いすると奥の部屋の方へ。
明かり取りの窓があります。
壁が厚いのは、建築技術があまりない時代の建物だと何かで読んだと思い、
古い建物なのかもしれない..と勝手に思いました。
ああ、今思うけれど、ここは煙突なようなものがあったのかも？

We asked for a non-smoking table and went to an inner part.
There is a skylight.
I have read somewhere that if a wall is very thick it could show us 
it came from an old period in which they did not have much technique for building 
so that arbitrarily I thought this building is quite old.
Oh! Yes! Now I think maybe here was something like a chimney? 

メニューはチェコ語と英語、そしていくつかは写真付き。
親切〜！

Their menu is in Czech and English with some photographs.
Kind~!

かなり大きなお店で、たくさんの人で溢れていて、

人気のほどがわかります。

喫煙席ではグループの宴会が入っているらしくかなり盛り上がっていました。

禁煙席の私達の席は比較的静かでした。

They are quite a big restaurant and were full of people 
which showed me their popularity.

The smoking area had the sound of lively groups.
Our table was in the relatively quiet non-smoking room.

地ビール"1466"

ウ メッドヴィッドクーの地ビールのひとつ、

非殺菌のラガービール、"1466"。

"1466" の名前は、麦汁の比重 : gravity の数値:14.66 ° から。

と言ってもなんのこと？という私です。

とにかく、ピンクオレンジ色で綺麗、それだけで幸せな気分になります。

アルコール度数は6.1%で、高めで私好みです。

Rと二人でまずはこれを。

私は2杯めも同じものを注文しました。

ここには中世からのレシピで作ったビール：Medvídkovskébílé (White)や、

世界で一番強い味の黒ビール : X-BEER33 や、

秋味、プラム風味ビール: Fallbrew (autumn special) などがあり、

お楽しみがいっぱいのお店です。

私達は演劇を見る前にもワインを飲んでいたので、ここでは2杯が限度でした。

"U Medvidku, 1466"
Unfiltered, unpasteurized lager from a microbrewery U Medvidku. 

The name : "1466" comes from its gravity - 14.66 °.

Although I say like this, I do not know what this means.

Anyway the pink-orange colour is beautiful which just made me happy seeing it.

Alcohol ratio is 6.1%, it is high and is my favourite.

First of all, R and I had this.
 I had the same one again.

They have Medvídkovské bílé (White) : using a mediaeval recipe,
X-BEER 33 : the strongest beer in the world,
 Fall brew (autumn special) : with plum flavour and others.
They have many enjoyable beers.
We had wine before the play, here two glasses of beer were our limit. 

お店の歴史がペーパーランチョンマットに書かれています。
殆ど読む人はいないでしょうけれど、
古くからあるのね〜と思いつつ飲めるのは良いと思います。

The paper mat has their history.
I think most people do not read,
although it is good we can feel they have been here for a long time 
while we have a drink.
歴史 / History：★ (英語)

Rは元祖バドワイザー / Budweiser Budvar、
アメリカのバドワイザー/ Budweiser とは違うのです。
自分たちの醸造所があるのに、これも扱っているのですね。

R had original Budweiser Budvar, which is different from American Budweiser.
They have their own brewery, although they serve this too, don't they?

前菜 (おそらく鴨) / Starter (probably duck)

サラダ / Salad

  

チェスキー・クルムルロフでポーク、ラムを食べ、
プラハで鹿のソーセージを食べたので、
チェコの鴨が食べたいと思っていたら、Rも鴨料理を注文しました。
彼がたまねぎ、にんにくなどが食べられないので、
もしもの時のために私の注文は彼が食べられなかった時に備えて注文を控えます。

I had pork and lamb in Český Krumlov and deer sausage in Prague,
so I thought I wanted to have Czech duck here, R did too and ordered a duck dish.
He can not eat onion, garlic and some others, so in case he cannot eat his dish 
which he has ordered, I could not ask for my main dish.


彼はこれは食べられたので、私は違う鴨料理 (下の写真) を追加注文しました。
He could have this meal so I then asked for a different duck dish (below).

地産の鴨半分 
見た目も確かに半分、ワイルドです。
この程度なら、私は平気！食いしん坊だから！
多少硬いお肉でしたが、
美味しくぺろッといただきました。
鴨をガツガツ食べるというのを初めてしました (笑)。
付け合せはポテト、白いパン、ベーコンの蒸し団子、そして赤と通常のキャベツ。

Half Local Duck
Looking exactly like half a duck, it is wild.
I don't mind this appearance, I am fine, because I am a glutton!
This meat was a little tough, although I finished quickly, happily.
It was the first time I ate duck greedily (laugh).
The meal came with potato, white bread, bacon dumplings, 
plus red and white cabbage. 


炭水化物系まで食べられず、Rに食べてもらいました。
ウエイトレスさんが空になった私のお皿を見て、
びっくりした顔をしていました。(笑)

I did not eat any carbohydrate, R ate instead of me.
After our waitress looked at my empty plate, I could see her surprise.(laugh)

お腹いっぱいでした〜〜！そりゃそうでしょう〜！

I was so full~~! Inde~ed!
