ようやく写真を撮り始めました。

元気づけてくれたのは、庭に咲く桜です。

'ソメイヨシノ'ではないので、開花もはやく、すでに、今、満開です。

Finally I started taking photographs.

In the garden this cherry tree has started blooming and encouraged me.

The cherry is not 'SOMEIYOSHINO',  its blossom season is earlier, 
so it is already full of blossom now.

他の木々や花も春を感じさせてくれます。

1) 新しい家 / New House

引っ越し後、いろいろ忙しく写真を撮る力が出ず、ブログも
お休み状態でした。

もっぱらRが撮影をしていました。

ここに彼の写真を載せます。

After moving, I have been busy with all sorts of things, so I do not have power for taking photographs and my blog has been as though taking a rest. 

But R takes many photographs.

I put some of his photographs here. 

庭から湘南の海を見る
電線と木々が交差する中に海が見えます。
二階堂も鎌倉山も電線が目につくのは、
他の景色とあわないということでしょう。
でも電気は必要だから仕方ないですね。

From My Garden to Shounan Sea
We see the sea between electric cables and trees.
Electricity cables disturb views in Nikaido and Kamakurayama, 
because they do not suit their surroundings.
However, electricity is a necessity we cannot do without.

お隣は鎌倉山開発当初からあり、かわいい家で趣もあります。
そこを通しての景色も素敵！

The house next-door has been there since Kamakurayama development began,
the house is lovely and has a good atmosphere.
And also the view over the house is wonderful too!

A Window
The mini-car came from Britain.
Mickey was given to R by my sister.
Calendar by Masumi Chan, my friend and an illustrator.

3月に入り、鉢植えをしました。
It became March, I planted some pots.

家からの夕日がきれい!
Rは殆ど毎日、夕日を撮影しています。

Sunset from our house is beautiful!
R takes photographs of it almost every day. 

庭にいつも来る鳥に気づきました。
彼はここを自分のテリトリーと思っているらしい...?

We noticed a bird which always come to our garden.
He looks as though the garden is his territory....?

家から富士山が見えるけれど、木々に隠れて全形は見えません。
Rは近所を歩いてこの景色が見えるところを発見しました。
私は近所を歩くほどの気力体力はまだありません。

We can just see Mt. Fuji from our house, 
although it is hidden by some trees and
we cannot see the whole form.
R walked around near our house then he found a place where 
we can see Mt. Fuji like this.
I still do not have enough energy to walk around the neighbourhood.

初めてのパン/ My First Bread

2月16日 / 16th of February 
以前、フォカッチャを作ったことがありましたが、通常のパンを作ったのは初めてでした。

Although I had made focaccia, this was the first time I had made general bread.

2月に私は以前よりも、より辺鄙なところへ引っ越しをしたので、いろいろなものを自分で作らなくてはなりません。

これって、良いことなのでしょうね〜？

In February, I moved even further away from the shops, so I should learn to make more things than before. 

It is good, isn't it?

美味しかった〜！

T san of Onari Cafe gave us these, chocolate coated almonds.
They are so delicious!

Rが英国からもってきた私へのプレゼント、
シャンパン"Be My Valentine" 。 

This is a small world on the table,
though it shows huge happiness.
Y san, a Nikaido neighbour couple gave us 
Valentine Chocolates.
Thank you very much!
I baked a pound cake.
R gave me a "Be My Valentine"  Champagne from Britain.

入籍 / Marriage

御成カフェのヴァレンタインデーのお菓子
大変私事ですが、バレンタインデーに入籍しました。

Onari Cafe's Valentine's Sweet 
Although it was very private, I and R married on Valentine's Day.

市役所で手続きをし、御成カフェでお茶をし、"鎌倉山倶楽部"で２人だけで記念の食事をしました。

We registered in Kamakura Office, had tea in Onari Cafe and only we had a celebratory meal in "Kamakurayama Club" which is a Japanese restaurant.

とても美味しい思い出に残る食事でした。
最後にお祝いのメロンのデザートも出していただき、感謝！

1月14日雪〜！／Snow~~! 14th of January

雪の日！/ Snow Day!

外出したときは、こんな感じの雪。
When I left, the snow was like this.

鎌倉駅周辺に用事があり、どうしても外出しなければなりませんでした。

I had things to do around Kamakura Station so out I went.

行きはタクシーを使用しましたが、帰りはタクシー会社に電話してもつながらず、歩いて帰る決心をしました。

けれども、バスが運行していて助かりました〜！

そして〜〜、バス代が無料！！感動！

When I went out I used a taxi.

Although when I would return, taxis were not running, so I decided to walk.

However, buses were still running, it was very helpful for me and other people. 

Moreover, they were free! ! 

I was so impressed! 

鎌倉宮のバス停につくと、美しい景色に興奮しました。
杖をもって、傘をもって書類バックをもって、
ハンドバッグをもって、とても大変でしたが、
それにもかかわらず、
立ち止まって何度もカメラのシャッターを切りました。

When I got back to Kamakura-Gu Bus Stop,
the view was very beautiful and I was wildly excited!
I had a stick, an umbrella, a carrier bag and my handbag,
so taking photos was extremely difficult.
However, I took many!
