1) 海岸線 / Kiagan Line

デュオこうべ / DUO KOBE内の "デュオぎゃらりー"で、友人Sさんのグループ展を見ました。

グループ展については下記。

その後、神戸市営地下鉄海岸線のハーバーランド駅で乗車し、みなと元町駅で下車をしました。

神戸に住んでいたこともあるし、神戸を離れた後も、複数回神戸を訪れていますが、

ハーバーランド駅もみなと元町駅も利用するのは初めてでした。

みなと元町駅
地上と地下を結ぶエレベーターです。
この写真は地上階。
海をイメージするパネルに囲まれています。

Minato Motomachi Station

This lift connects the ground floor and the basement.

This photograph shows the ground floor.

It is surrounded by panels with images of the sea.

2番出入り口
パネル脇の壁も、波を連想させる
デザインのタイル (?) が嵌め込まれています。
みなと元町駅だけのデザインなのか、
海岸線の駅の壁がみなこのように
なっているのかはわかりません。

Exit 2
The tiled wall next to the panels is also inlaid 
 with a design reminiscent of waves.
I don't know if the design is only for Minato-Motomachi station 
or if all the walls of the stations on the Kaigan Line are like this.

Kaigan Line

I visited a group exhibition including works by my friend S San in "Duo Gallery" in DUO KOBE.

② 2022年10月16日 関西旅行 - 元町散策/ Kansai Trip - Walk in ...

After visiting, I got on the Kobe Municipal Subway Kaigan Line at Harborland Station and got off at Minato Motomachi Station.

(Kaigan means coast in Japanese / Minato means port in Japanese)

I used to live in Kobe, and even after leaving Kobe, I have visited Kobe several times, although this was my first time to use both Harborland Station and Minato Motomachi Station.

みなと元町駅・1番出入り口
私が利用したのは2番出口でした。
1番出口の建物は、辰野 金吾 (タツノ キンゴ / 1854 -1919) 設計、
旧第一銀行神戸支店 (1908年竣工) の外壁を使用しています。
私は、全くこの建物には気がつきませんでした。
残念でした〜〜！(涙)

Minato Motomachi Station, Exit 1

I used Exit 2.

Exit 1 uses the outer wall of the former Dai-Ichi Bank Kobe Branch 

(completed in 1908), designed by Tatsuno Kingo (1854 - 1919) .

I didn't notice this building at all.

That's too bad~~! (tears)

2) 再生 / Rebirth

古くて新しい
歩道を歩いていると旧居留地 (キュウキョリュウチ) を
思わせる建物を見ました。
ですが、見上げるとかなりの高層ビルで、
古さと新しさが混じっていて不思議な気がしました。

Old and New
As I walked along the pavement, I saw a building that
reminded me of the former foreign settlement.
However, when I looked up, it was quite a skyscraper,
and I felt strange that the old and the new were mixed.

古い低層階の建物に、高層階の建物が乗っているように感じられます。
継ぎ足したのかと思いましたが築年数は同じようでした。
あれやこれや考えながら建物を眺めて撮影しました。

I felt like a high-rise building on top of an old low-rise building.

I thought it was added, but it seems that the age of the building was the same.

While thinking about this and that, I looked at the building and photographed.

栄町通りにあります。
This is located on Sakaemachi Street.

説明板
説明板を見つけ、建物の歴史を知りました。

Explanation Board
I found an information board and learned
about the history of the building.

説明板の隣には、
もとの建物の石材が設置されています。

Stones from the original building are installed
next to the explanation board.

柱頭
イオニア式の柱頭 (チュウトウ)だと思います。

Column Capital
I think it's an Ionic order column capital.

この建物は、元の建物 : 旧第一勧業銀行神戸支店 (下の写真) の外観をモチーフとしたデザインをし、再生しました。

This building was designed and reproduced with the motif of the exterior of the original building : the former Dai-ichi Kangyo Bank Kobe Branch, below.

設計者：長野 宇平治 (ナガノウヘイジ / 1867 -1937)

施工者 : 竹中工務店

解体年：1995年 (阪神・淡路大震災で倒壊）

Year of construction : 1916 (5th year of Taisho)

Designer : Uheiji Nagano

Contractor : Takenaka Corporation

Year dismantled : 1995 (collapsed in the Great Hanshin Earthquake)

3) Lotta

Lotta
歩いていて見つけたお店、Lotta。
残念ながら店内は撮影禁止でした。
北欧の雑貨、食器などを販売しています。

A shop I found while walking, Lotta.
Unfortunately, photography was prohibited inside the shop.
They sell Nordic miscellaneous goods, tableware and so on.

外から店内の撮影を試みましたが、リフレクションが
強く影響していてでわかりずらいですね。

I tried to take a picture of the inside of the shop from outside,
but it's hard to see because of the strong reflection.

作家さんの作品を多く扱っているので撮影が禁止のようです。
同じようなお店でも撮影はOKなところもあるのですけれどね...。

It seems that photography is prohibited because it deals
 with many works of the craftsmen or craftswomen.
Even in similar shops, there are places where photography is OK, but...

赤煉瓦
入り口前の道路に、おしゃれな赤煉瓦が詰められています。

Red Bricks
The road in front of the entrance is packed with stylish red bricks.

4)トト路地? / Toto Alley?

A. 店名 / Shop Name

'トト路地' は旅行前のリサーチで見つけていたので、ここを目指して行きました。

I had found 'Toto Alley' in my research before my trip, so I headed there.

この建物には、たくさんのお店が入っています。
次のセクションに載せる予定の"凛" (リン) も
このビルに入っています。

"Rin : 凛" which will be posted in the next section,
 is also in this building.

'トト路地' ???

私は、リサーチした時も現地に行った時も、

この通路が 'トト路地' : ★と

呼ばれているのだと思っていました。

帰宅後、ようやく 'トト路地' は、あるアンティーク・ショップの

店名だと知りました。

実際の 'トト路地' には結局行きませんでした。

'Toto Alley' ???

When I did research and when I went to the site, 

I thought that this passage was called 'Toto Alley'.

After returning home, I finally found that 'Toto Alley' was 

the name of an antique shop.

I didn't end up in the actual 'Toto Alley'.

'トト路地' の看板

'トト路地'は、302号室。
'トト路地' の看板を見ながらも撮影しながらも
ずっと'トト路地'は店名だとは理解していませんでした。

While looking at the 'Toto Alley' sign and photographing,
 I didn't understand that 'Toto Alley' was the name of the shop.

B. たくさんのお店 / Many Shops

栄町ビルディングにはたくさんのお店が入っていました。

私は、お店の看板や'お知らせ'は撮影しましたが、1階にあるお店の2、3軒立ち寄っただけでした。

Many Shops

There are many shops in the Sakaemachi Building.

I took pictures of the shop signs and 'notices', but I only stopped by a few shops on the first floor.

このお店に入ってみたかったのですが、閉まってました。
店内は電気が付いていたので、スタッフがちょっといない間に
私が訪ねたのかもしれません。

I wanted to go into this shop, but it was closed.

There were lights in the shop, so I may have visited 

while the staff was away for a while.

5) スナップショット / Snapshot

立体の看板
立体の看板の形と、場所が合っていると思って撮影しました。

Three-dimensional Signboard
I thought that the shape of the three-dimensional signboard
and the location matched, so I took a picture.

以前、友人のMと夫Rとここに入ったかもと
思いつつ撮影しました。
カフェもあったような？？？

I took a picture while thinking that I might have entered here
 with my friend M and my husband R before.
I wondered if there was a cafe too? ? ?

'ロンシュクレカフェ'
行列ができていたので、何かしら？と思い撮影しました。
'Rond sucré cafe / ロンシュクレカフェ' でした。
人気店なのでしょう。

There was a queue, so what is it? I took a picture of it.
This is 'Rond sucré cafe'.
It must be a popular cafe.

なんのお店でしょうか？
What kind of shop is this?

かわいい看板 / Pretty Signs

ちょっと心惹かれた店構えでしたが、今回は撮影のみしました。
店名の 'PoLeToKo / ポレトコ' という響きが可愛らしいです。
後に、手作りの木製の動物を販売していると知りました。
2階はレンタルスペースになっています。

I felt its appearance was quite attractive,

 but this time I only took a picture.

The shop name 'PoLeToKo' sounds sweet.

Later I found that they sell handmade wooden animals.

The first floor is a rental space.

The next section is about the shops that I liked and bought goods from : 'Rin : 凛' and 'clueto'.
