2019年6月13日紫陽花 / Hydrangea, 13th of June, 2019

この日に、裏庭の紫陽花が開花していることに気がつきました。

毎年、花の色が違い、不思議です。

咲いた後も色が変化します。

これも紫陽花の楽しみの一つですね。

紫陽花は、土壌(のpH: 酸性度）によって花の色が変わり、

「酸性ならば青、アルカリ性ならば赤」

になると聞いていました。

我が家の紫陽花は、当初、かなり青でしたが、年々、白に近づいています。

Today, I noticed that the Hydrangea in the back garden were blooming.

Every year, the colour of the flower is different, it is strange.

The colour changes even after blooming.

This is also one of the pleasures of Hydrangea.

I heard that the colour of Hydrangea changes depending on soil pH and it becomes "blue for acidity, red for alkalinity".

Our hydrangea was originally quite blue, but it is approaching white every year.

The Hydrangea behind our house is unusual in flower shape.
It is a lovely and gorgeous hydrangea.

Flowers of Sunagoke ; a moss  have bloomed.
