1) 窯/ Kiln
前回の個展準備の終盤に、エラーが続きました。
今回焼成を初めてどうなるかと思いましたが、作動してくれたので、ちょっとほっとしています。
ですが、焼成を重ねるたびに窯の元気がなくなって行きます。
11月19日に、ネットショップを通して、窯の制作会社、"日本電産シンポ/ SHIMPO"に出張修理 (ヒーター線交換含) の依頼をしました。
依頼後、家に来てくれるのに、結構かかると聞いています(2-3週間?)。
また、熱線交換の出張修理はPC (Mac) が1台買えるくらい高いのです(涙)。
熱線交換は基本的には自分でするものらしいです。
ですが、何しろ、機械関係に弱く、修理を学んでこなかったので、依頼するしか
ありません....トホホ
今回は炉壁のヒビの修理も必要かもしれないのでなおさらです。
2回目からのヒーター線交換は自分で行えるように、出張の方がいらしたら、写真撮影をしつつよく見ておきたいと思います。
その後の電話で、出張修理の話はいっさいなく、窯を家から運びだしての修理 (2~3週間) の話があり、私は炉壁修理の件があったので、家では修理ができないと理解し、そのお話を飲みました。
ですが、引き取り日程もなかなか決まらず、その交渉の間に私は先方への信頼を失い、ネットショップさんに間に入ってもらうことにしました。
(以前もそうでした）
ネットショップさんが親切にも、窯引きとりをすぐにしてくれ修理も数日で終えてくれるとのことでした。
またSHIMPOさんが出張修理が不可能ではないことも教えてくれました。
修理を見ておかないと、私の場合は、いつまでたっても高額な修理費(出張修理にしても、窯引き取り修理にしても)を払わなくてはならないので、今回は出張修理に固執しました。
炉壁の写真もメール添付し、ショップも私もSHIMPOさんの見積もりや日程候補を待っています。
ああ、いつSHIMPOさんは来てくれるのでしょう〜？

Kiln
By the end of my preparation for my previous exhibition, my kiln had many 'Errors'.
At this time, I wondered how it was, after then anyway it works, so I felt relieved.
However, each time it had a firing it seemed to lose power.
On the 19th of November, I asked for a repair visit including changing the elements via a net shop "A Nidec SHIMPO Corporation" which made my kiln.
I heard the visit would be much later than after my request (two - three weeks).
And also the cost is very expensive, I could buy a computer: Mac. (tears)
They say basically the elements should be changed by ourselves.
However, I am so weak about machinery and I haven't learnt about repairing kilns,
so I cannot help it.....boo-hoo-hoo
Moreover, my kiln might also need cracks to be repaired.
I would change the elements from next time myself, and I would observe the repairing with photographs when they come.
Later they called me, they pushed me to take away my kiln for the repairs without talking about the visiting and it needs two or three weeks.
I felt I could not help it and I swallowed it, even though it was difficult to agree the date for taking the kiln.
While I connected with them, I lost faith in them and I decided I would ask and depend on the net shop. (Like previous time, too)
The net shop is kindly and they could take my kiln for repairing in a few days and also they told me it is possible for SHIMPO to repair visiting.
I thought if I did not look at the repairing, I must pay next time; the visiting or the taking, too after all I persisted to ask for a visiting repair.
I sent e-mail attached photographs of my kiln inside, now I and the shop are waiting for SHIMPO's estimate and possible visiting day.
Ah! When does SHIMPO come here~?

2) 焼成 / Firing
現在(11月30日)も焼成は続けています。
でも、11月28日本焼焼成のねらし中にエラーが出ました。
もう、私の窯は本焼の温度(1230℃)に耐えられないのです。
ほんとに、SHIMPOさん、いつ来てくれるの~？
大きな流れにちょっと違う流れのことをしようとするのは結構難しいことなのですね。
社会の中で、自分の意志や思いを通すのは、大変なことなのね〜と、小さな自分の経験を通して、少し感じられます。
小さな自分、名もなき小さな人々よ！がんばれ〜！
わ〜、飛躍しすぎ...私、ストレスがたまっているのかもしれません。
きっとそうでしょう! (笑)

Firing
I am having firings today, 30th of November.
However, while it was soak of the firing, it showed an error on the 28th of November.
Now my kiln cannot reach my firing temperature of 1230℃.
Really, when does SHIMPO visit me~!?
It is quite difficult to make even a little difference in the flow of a large flow of water, isn't it?
I felt through my small experiences that it is hard work to keep a personal opinion or thought in a society.
Cheer Up! Small me! Nameless people!

3) 個展のタイトル / My Exhibition's Title
借りタイトルとして"Coonie's World in Kamakura"としてきましたが、
"Space Quest in Kamakura, 2015"
にしよと思います。
My Exhibition's Title
Provisional title was "Coonie's World in Kamakura", now I have decided on
"Space Quest in Kamakura, 2015"
It is quite difficult to make even a little difference in the flow of a large flow of water, isn't it?
I felt through my small experiences that it is hard work to keep a personal opinion or thought in a society.
