❷セントラル ロンドン / Central London - 10th of August

 1) テート•モダン / Tate Modern

現在テート•モダンの一部は再建築中。
タービンホールも正面玄関も閉じられています。
見られる場所が少なくなっていて、
なおかつ土曜日ということもあり、
通常よりもすごく混んでいました。
さらに夏休みということもあるのかもしれません。
もともと人ごみが得意でないうえに、
最近のんびりする場所を旅行していたせいか、
この人ごみでぐったりしてしまい
見る気力をなくしてしまいました。

Now a part of the building is being refurbished.
Turbine Hall and the main entrance are closed. 
The viewing space is reduced,
and also it is Saturday, so here is more crowded than usual.
Moreover, it is during the Summer Holidays.
Basically I am weak about crowds and recently
 I had trips which were in easy-going places so
here I quickly lost my willpower.

2) レストラン / Restaurant 

一番最初に行ったのがレストラン、そしてテート•モダンに居る間最も長く時間をここで過ごしました。

いったい、私は何をしに来たのやら.....

Firstly we went to a restaurant in Tate Modern and stayed here longer than in the gallery.

ロンドン•ミレニアム•ブリッジ
通常は'ミレニアム•ブリッジ 'と呼ばれています。

London Millennium Bridge  
Normally it is called 'Millennium Bridge'

味はまあまあ、でもみな美しい！

Their tastes are so so, but they are beautiful!

デザートはふたつともRは食べました。
R had two sweets. 

壁面の絵は草間弥生 (1929 ~) さんのデザインでしょうか？

Is the design on the wall by Yayoi Kusama (1929 ~)?

3)館内 / In the Gallery

4) 最寄り駅 / Closest Station

A. London Blackfriars Station

テートモダンに一番近い駅
ウィンブルドンから乗り換え無しでここまで来れるのに、
この駅の新しい入り口ができたことをこの日まで知りませんでした。
本数が少ないのが残念なところかな？

Closest Station for Tate Modern
People can now come here directly from Wimbledon,
although we did not know about this new station's entrance until today.
The line does not run frequently, that's too bad.

今は、ホームがテームズ川の上にあり、
景色が見えるようになっています。
The platform is now above the Thames and we can see the views.
