❶ケント旅行 / Kent Trip- 1) Leeds Castle and Garden : B&B

今まで、英国の南西部分を旅する事が殆どありませんでした。

今夏は、この地域：ケント、サセックス地方を廻る予定です。

まずは、ケント!

ロンドンからカンタベリーへ向かう途中、リーズキャッスル／

Leeds Castle にも寄りました。

ここはガーデンが有名ですし、敷地内に宿泊もできます。

私達は、一泊しました。

宿泊者は、庭の開閉時間に捕われることなく、庭を楽しむことができますし、ライトアップされたお城も見る事ができます。

Rはこれらを楽しみましたが、私は、とっても疲れていて、この特典を利用することができませんでした。

26th of June

I haven't  stayed outside London in south-east Britain.

I planned trips which visit the areas: Kent and Sussex. 

First of all, it is Kent!

We went to Leeds Castle near Maidstone before Canterbury. 

Here, their garden is popular and they have B＆B.

We stayed one night. 

The guests can see the garden before opening and after closing time, and also they can enjoy the castle lit up at night. 

R enjoyed the garden in the evening, although I didn't go out because I was extremely tired.  

敷地内でゴルフをしています!
一般のものとは違う入り口から車で入って来ます。
ゆっくりしたスピードで３分くらいで、
敷地内のB＆Bに到着します。
どれだけ広い敷地なのでしょうか？

They have a golf course too !
We came here by car from a gate
which is a different from the public one.
It took about three minutes by car at slow speed
to arrive at the B＆B.

私達の部屋 'Bedroom 3' への玄関です。
This door is for three rooms.
Ours was 'Bedroom 3'

この朝顔のような花は見たことがありませんでした。
I have never seen the flowers which were like Morning Glory.

バスルーム(上)とトイレ(下)
贅沢なことに、お風呂と、シャワー専用があります。
ただし、お風呂のシャワーが故障しているので使用できません。
なので、お風呂は見た目はきれいですが、'アカ'がついています。
英国だな〜と感じます。(笑)

It is luxurious to have a bath and a separate shower.
Unfortunately, the bath's shower didn't work,
the bath looked clean but it was dirty.
I feel this is Britain. (laugh)

お風呂の掃除はちょっと....ですが、

備品に高級感がありますね?

L'Occitane's shampoo, soap and others.

Glad!

The bath is not quite clean,

however, they keep high-grade sense, don't they?

Our room was on the left of the first floor.

2) 6月27日/ 27th of June

窓から雌の孔雀を見る
私はとても感激しましたが、
Rは前日に雄の孔雀を真近で見ていたので
たいして驚きもしませんでした。

I looked at female Peacock.
I was very impressed,
although R was not as impressed, 
because he had seen a male Peacock close up the day before.

レストラン
徒歩1分ほどのところで朝食をとります。

Restaurant
It takes one minute from our room on foot.

レストランからお城が見えます。
お城といっても、ここは、マナーハウスに近いな〜。

The Castle from the Restaurant. 
Even though they say a castle,
 I say it is a manor house rather than a castle.
