1) 庭 - 6月27日 / Garden - 27th of June
B＆B前の庭：'Culpeper Garden', 'Lady Baillie Garden' の
ガーデンツアーに参加前に、お城の反対側(下の地図ではお城の左側：④,⑥)を散歩しました。
ですが、あまりに広すぎて、時間的にも体力的にも私達には無理があるので、半分くらいでひきかえしました。
Before a garden tour of 'Culpeper Garden', 'Lady Baillie Garden' , we walked around beyond the castle ; to the left of the castle on the Map (④,⑥) ; below.
However, we returned half-way, because we did not have time or strength and anyway there is so large!

| 広い敷地なので、庭というよりも、公園に感じます。 Here is very wide, so I feel it is a park rather than a garden. |

2) 孔雀 / Peacock

| 'あずまや: Pavilion'が見えます。 I see a 'Pavilion.' |

| 'あずまや'と訳しましたが、 日本では通常の一軒家なみのサイズです。 おとぎ話のコテージの雰囲気があります。 In Japan, the size is a house rather than a 'Pavilion'. The atmosphere is a fairy-tale cottage for me. |

| ちょっとした遊び心 アーチをくぐって橋を渡ります。 A slight sense of fun I pass through this arch and cross the bridge. |

| お城には白鳥がつきものですよね。 A castle should have a swan, shouldn't it? |

| 庭で森林浴が楽しめる.... この敷地の広さを楽しみつつ、嫉妬心も持ってしまいます。 なんて心の狭い私! We can enjoy therapeutic walks in the woods. I enjoyed this spaciousness as well as I felt jealousy at the sight of the size. How narrow-minded I am! |

| 一般入り口からお城前までを、 かわいい汽車？：'Land Train' が往復しています。 This lovely train : 'Land Train' runs between the public entrance and near the castle entrance. |
