とても寒いのに、植物たちは春へ向かって変化していることを表現しています。
人間にはわからないかれど、彼らはわかっているのだな〜と思うと、とても不思議。
自然は、すごいことを当たり前にやってしまいます。

お隣の庭の梅です。
気がつかないうちに梅がたくさん咲いていました。
でも空気の冷たさが写真から感じられます。
あっ！この日は私たちの結婚記念日でした。
Rは英国で私は日本...結婚後、
初めて別々にこの日を過ごしました。

Ume is in the garden next door.
Many Ume : Prunus mumes were in bloom before I knew it.
But I can feel the coldness of the air from the photo.
Ah! This day was our wedding anniversary.
R is in Britain and I am in Japan ... after marriage,
we spent this day separately for the first time.

Even though it is very cold, the plants show that they are changing towards spring.
It's very mysterious to think that humans don't recognize it, but they know it.
Nature does great things with ease.

友人から貰ったワインを一人で飲みました。
ワインと本があり、自分の好きな音楽が聴けること、
幸せな一時です。

I drank the wine myself I got from my friend.
It's a happy time to have wine and books and
listen to my favourite music.

紅梅も白梅も咲きそろっています。

Both red and white Ume are in full bloom.
お天気が良くて心なしか梅も喜んでいるように
感じられます。
The weather is lovely and
I feel the Ume blossoms are happy in the sun.

モミジゼラニウム
葉を楽しむためのゼラニウムです。
なかなか花を咲かせないので、最初は花は咲かないと
思っていました。
この日は花が咲いているのを見つけて、嬉しい気分！
Maple Geranium
This Geranium is for enjoying the leaves.
At first I thought it wouldn't bloom because it's hard to bloom.
I'm happy to find the flowers blooming on this day!

クリスマスローズ
庭にはいくつかクリスマスローズがあります。
ブルーベリーの根元にあるこの子がいつも一番元気です。
Christmas Rose
There are several Christmas Roses in the garden.
This at the base of the blueberries is always the best.

オキザリス
鉢から地植えにした後、消息不明でしたが、
ここで花を咲かせようとしています。
Oxalis
After planting in the ground from the pot,
the whereabouts were unknown,
but it is trying to make flowers here. |

紫蘭
この花の名前、"紫蘭 (シラン)"が好きです。
母の庭からやってきて年々、咲く場所は広がってゆきます。
Bletilla Striata : Shiran ; Purple Orchid
I like the name of this flower, "Shiran" ; They came from my mother's garden, the place where it blooms expands every year. |

モミジゼラニウムの株を複数購入し、
別々の場所に植えてみました。
鉢植えが最も適していました。
これは地植えにしたので、ちょっと弱々しい。
それでも生きてのてくれていて嬉しい。
もうちょっと育ったら鉢植えに変えようかと考えています。
I bought some strains of Maple Geranium and planted them in different places. Potting them is the most suitable. This was planted in the ground, so it's a little weak. Still, I'm glad that it is alive. I'm thinking of moving it into a pot when this grows up a little more. |

クリスマスローズ
本帰国して初めて買った植物です。
以前住んでいた二階堂の庭に植え、ここへも連れてきました。
ちょっと元気がなくなってしまったのですが、
毎年花は咲かせてくれます。
Christmas Rose
This is the first plant I bought after returning to Japan. I planted it in the garden of Nikaido where I used to live and brought it here as well. It become a little weaker, but the flowers bloom every year.

4) 二人 / Two People
Rが英国から戻ってきました。
この頃から、コロナウィルス (COVID-19/コヴィッド ナインティーン) が広がり始めましたが、まだ人々は半信半疑でしたし、欧米ではアジア圏の病気であると高を括っていました。
Rが問題なく日本へ入ってくることもでき、ラッキーでした。
二人揃っていられ、その後も元気で過ごせていることも幸運なことで、ありがたいことです。

Rを迎えました。
赤いi-phoneケースはRのお土産です。
I welcomed R with the champagne that
my friend gave me.

Two People
R was back from Britain.
Around this time, the coronavirus (COVID-19 / Covid Nineteen) began to spread, but people were still sceptical, and in Europe and the United States, it was argued that it was an Asian disease.
R could come to Japan without any problems, it was lucky.
We are fortunate to have two people together and to be able to stay healthy after that, and I'm grateful.

ビスケット
Rが英国のスーパーで見つけて買ってきてくれました。
甘いものが苦手な私が、昨年の夏にオランダで買った
このビスケットを英国でパクパク食べていたからでした。
わ〜イ！と思って食べたらとても甘くて
昨年ほどの好意ある興奮(笑)はありませんでした。
日本で美味しいものに囲まれてしまったからのように思います。
Biscuits
R found this in a supermarket in Britain and bought. I wasn't good at sweets who ate this biscuit quickly in Britain which we bought in the Netherlands last summer. Wow! I started eating this straight away and it was very sweet for me and I didn't have the positive excitement (laugh) of last year. I think it's because I have been surrounded by delicious food in Japan. |
