湯布院 / Yufuin
私は、湯布院と覚えていました。
これは、以前湯布院町のときに、町内に３カ所温泉があるので、有名であった町名を覚えていたからですが、湯布院町は近くの町と合併し、由布市 (ユフシ)となり、自治体としては消えてしまいました。
現在、町名とインターチェンジは「湯布院」ですが、駅名と温泉名は「由布院」になっています。
湯布院は観光地化がかなりすすでいて、鎌倉を思い起こしました。
鎌倉よりももっといろいろな方面に広がっていて、これからどうなってしまうのかしら？と心配になるくらいでした。
Yufuin
We moved from Beppu to Yufuin.
Yufuin (湯布院町 / Yufuin-chō) was a town, well-known for its three hot spring spas, located in Ōita Prefecture.
Yufuin has been developing, which reminds me of Kamakura.
Maybe here is in more different ways, I wonder if the good original parts might be lost.

| 民芸村博物館 骨董品などが展示してあり、陶芸、染織、ガラス工房などもありました。 展示物に興味がれば、おもしろいかもしれませんが、 展示物やクラフトにあまり 興味がない方を惹きつける工夫がちょっとかけているように思いました。 Folklore Museum Village They display antique things and have studios for a potter, dyeing and glass-making. If people are interested in them, they would probably enjoy there, however, I feel the museum lacks a little effort for drawing-in people who are not strongly interested in the displays or the crafts.  ガラス工房 私はガラス室のものが好きです。 作るところを見るのも好き！ Glass Studio I like glass and watching it being made.   Glass ingredients in Japanese     お猪口(チョコ)でした。/ It will be a sake cup. |

| この屋根が特別な作り方をしていたのですが、 残念ながら詳細を覚えていません。 This roof is specially made, unfortunately I do not remember the details.  |
