1) 箸置き / Chopstick Rests

数年前に、夫Rと金沢へ来た時に、九谷焼の箸置きを買いました。

ネットで調べて、'若手の作家作品がおいてある店'と紹介してあったお店で買いました。

スタッフの女性から、

「それはここから近い料亭で使われているものですよ。良い品です」

と言われて、嬉しくなりました。

数年使っていたら、いつのまにかなくなって、数が減ってしまいました。

今度金沢へ行ったら買い足したいと思っていました。

お店の名前を覚えていなかったのですが、柳宗理デザイン研究所の近くであったことを覚えていました。

検索すると、"順風堂"というお店だとわかりました。

ラッキーなことに、今日(10日)、金沢在住のSちゃんが予約してくれていたランチのお店や再び行きたいと思っていた柳宗理デザイン研究所にも近かったので、彼女と一緒に行きました。

私は箸置きを購入し、彼女も気にいったお皿をセットで購入しました。

箸置き

4個は自分に、2個は友人Mへのお誕生日プレゼントの

1つとして購入しました。

以前購入した柄は上部だけでした。

今回新しい柄(下)も買いました。

I bought 4 for myself and 2 for my friend M 

as one of her birthday presents.

The pattern I purchased before was only the upper part.

I also bought a new pattern, bottom this time.

箸置き・底

箸置きにも高台 (コウダイ) がついていて、素敵！

Chopstick Rests

A few years ago, when I and my husband R visited Kanazawa, we bought Kutani ware chopstick rests.

I looked a shop up on the internet, an article introduced the shop as 'the shop sells works by young artists' and we bought the chopstick rests in the shop.

A woman staff said,

"They are used in a Japanese restaurant near here. They are good products."

and it made me delighted.

After using them for several years, some disappeared and the number decreased.

I had wanted to buy some more next time I would visit Kanazawa.

I didn't remember the shop's name, but remembered it was near Yanagi Sori Design Memorial.

When I researched, I found that it was the shop called "Junpudo".

Luckily, today (10th), S Chan, who lives in Kanazawa, made a reservation for our lunch, and Yanagi Sori Design Memorial, which I wanted to visit again, were v close by.

I bought chopstick rests, and S Chan also bought a set of plates that she liked.

2) "stoock"

今回の旅行では、お土産を買う時間を

ほとんど持てませんでした。

このお店は保存食品のお店だったので、

いくつか友人たちに向けて買いました。

On this trip, I hardly had time to buy souvenirs.

Here is a preserved food shop, so I bought some for my friends.

3) 看板 / Sign Boards 

おもしろいな〜と思ったり、興味を惹かれたりした、看板を撮影しました。

I took pictures of signboards that I thought were interesting or that attracted my interest.

4) また、惣構！ / Again Sougamae!

金沢城惣構跡 
今回の金沢旅行中に複数の金沢城の惣構(ソウガマエ) の
案内板を見ました。
そしていくらか、惣構のことを知りました。

During my trip to Kanazawa this time,
I saw several guide boards for Enclosed Moats of
 Kanazawa Castle : Sougamae.
And I did learn some things about Sougamae.

東内惣構跡
ここは東内惣構跡です。
金沢城(公園)の東、兼六園の北になります。

Here is a site of East Inner 'Sougamae'
It is east of Kanazawa Castle (park) and
north of Kenroku-en Garden.

惣構は、城の機能的構成部分 (内郭/ナイカク) から、さらにもう一重外側 (外郭/ガイカク) に堀や石垣、土塁で囲い込んだ防御線です。

金沢城外には、東西の内外計4本の惣構堀 (ソウガマエボリ) が掘られていました。

'Sougamae' is a defensive line that surrounds the castle's functional constituent parts (inner hull) with moats, stone walls, and earthworks to the outside (outer hull).

Outside Kanazawa Castle, a total of four Sogamae-bori moats were dug on the east and west sides of the castle.

Kanazawa Castle (park) is to the left.

'かれきはし/ 枯木橋'
'かれきはし/ 枯木橋'は、歩道部分だけでなく、
道路も含めて橋なのです。
この下には、東内惣構の堀(水路?)があります。

'Karekihashi Bridge' includes not only the pavement 

 but also the road.

Below this is the moat (waterway?) of

 East Inner 'Sougamae'.

4) 金沢文芸館 / Kanazawa Literary Hall

'枯木橋'のもう一方側には、金沢文芸館があります。

On the other side of the 'Karekihashi Bridge' is the Kanazawa Literary Hall.

金沢文芸館
1929年竣工
銀行の建物を利用しているのかなと推測していました。
正解でした。
旧石川銀行橋場支店で、現在は金沢市所有です。
2004年に国の有形文化財に登録され、
2005年に金沢文芸館としてオープンしました。

Completed in 1929

I was guessing that they used a bank building.

It was correct.

Former Ishikawa Bank Hashiba Branch,

 now owned by Kanazawa City.

It was registered as a national tangible cultural property in 2004

 and opened as the Kanazawa Literary Hall in 2005.

ランチの予約時間が迫っていたので中へは
入りませんでした。

We didn't go inside because it was close to
our lunch booking time.

6) 大樋焼 / OHI Ware

旧森快安邸, 1860
立派な日本家屋に惹かれて近づきましたが、
この入口からは中へは入ることができませんでした。
ここで複数の写真を見ることができます→★。
この家は、加賀藩医の森快安 (モリ カイアン / ? - ?) 邸でした。
その後、大樋焼 (オオヒヤキ)の大樋家が購入し
1990年に大樋美術館を開館しました。
美術館入り口は別な場所にあります。

Former Mori Kaian Residence

I was drawn to the splendid Japanese house 

and approached it, but I could not enter through this entrance.

This house used to be the residence of 

Kaga Domain doctor, Kaian Mori (? - ?)

After that, this was purchased by the Ohi family of Ohi ware

who opened the Ohi Museum here in 1990.

The entrance to the museum is at a different location.

Kanazawa City Designated Objects for Preservation

楽焼の1つ、大樋焼を初めて知りました。

I learned about Ohi ware, a type of Raku ware, for the first time.

"折鶴の松"

'折鶴の形をしている'と説明されていますが、
私にはその形が確認できませんでした。

"Origami Crane Pine"

It is described as 'in the shape of an origami crane',
but I could not confirm the shape.

大樋美術館・入り口
時間があれば入館しても良い感じでした。
残念ながら私たちには時間がなかったので、
ショップだけちらっとみました。
驚いたことに、奈良 祐希 (ナラ ユウキ / 1989 ~)さん
の作品がありました。
彼は、前日に訪れた
金沢21世紀美術館 : ★の
" うつわ展"にあった 'Frozen Flowers' : ★
の作家さんです。
'Frozen Flowers' は魅力的な作品でした。
彼の食器作品を見ることができて嬉しかったです。
願わくば、もっと時間がほしかったです。

Ohi Museum Entrance

It gave a good feeling to enter, if we had time.

Unfortunately we didn't have time, 

so we just had a quick look at their shop.

To my surprise, there were works by Yuki Nara (1989 ~).

He is the artist of 'Frozen Flowers' that was 

in the "Vessels Exhibition" in 

the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa : ★ 

 that we visited the day before.

It was good to see his tableware work.

I wish we had more time.

7) 金城樓 / Kinjoro

料亭旅館・金城樓 (キンジョウロ)の脇を通りました。

Sちゃんの夫、SYさんの職場では、毎年積み立てをして、1年に1回、ここで食事会をするそうです。

良いアイディアだな〜と思います。

私は、初めて、この高級な料亭旅館を知りました。

いつか、私にが利用できる日がくるでしょうか？

このホテルは、ミシュランガイド北陸 2021特別版で、

"5パビリオン(5つ星旅館)"を獲得しました。

This hotel has been awarded "5 Pavilion (5-Star Ryokan)" 

in the Michelin Guide Hokuriku 2021 Special Edition.

Kinjoro

I passed by Kinjoro, a Japanese restaurant and hotel.

S Chan's husband, SY San's workplace saves money every year and has a dinner party here once a year.

I think it's a good idea.

For the first time, I found out about this high-class restaurant and hotel.

Will there be a day when I can use it?
