随分前から鎌倉の空には、自衛隊のヘリコプターや飛行機、もしくは米機が飛び交っています。
最近は、かなり朝早くから夜になってからも、上空からそれらの音がしています。
朝７時前に、チヌークの撮影をしました。
撮影した時は、'チヌーク 'としか認識できませんでしたが、写真を拡大すると、陸上自衛隊・チヌーク : CH-47JAとわかりました。
CH-47JAの原型は、CH-47で、 アメリカのボーイング・バートル社 (現ボーイング・ロータークラフト・システムズ社) で開発されました。
愛称の"チヌーク" (Chinook) は、北アメリカのネイティブアメリカン部族の"チヌーク族" に由来しています。
米陸軍はヘリの名前に部族名をつけることが多々あるそうです。
'羽' があるからでしょうか？
毎朝、私は鳥の歌声を聞きますが、羽をもつチヌークの音は、歌には思えません。
ちょっと複雑な気持ちです。

Morning
Helicopters, planes of Japan Self-Defense Force, and United States planes or helicopters have been flying over the sky of Kamakura for a long time.
These days, those sounds are heard from the sky, even from early in the morning to late at night.
I photographed a Chinook before 7am.
When I took the picture, I could only recognize it as 'Chinook', but when I enlarged the picture, I found that it was the Ground Self-Defense Force Chinook: CH-47 Chinook.
The prototype of CH-47JA is CH-47, which was developed by Boeing Vertol (currently Boeing Rotorcraft Systems) in America.
The nickname "Chinook" comes from the Native American Chinook tribe in North America.
The US Army often gives helicopters tribal names.
Is it because they have 'Wings'?
Every morning I hear the birds singing, but the sound of a winged Chinook doesn't seem like a song.
I feel a little complicated.

B. 午後 / Afternoon
午後2時半前には、2機のチヌークが、朝とは逆方向へ向かって飛んでゆきました。
基地に帰還するところかな〜と思いうつつ撮影しました。
Afternoon
Before 2:30 pm, two Chinooks flew in the opposite direction from the morning Chinook.
I photographed while thinking that they were about to return to their base.

| ホワイト・ランタナ ホワイトランタナは、最近苗を鉢に植えました。 この花も初めて咲きました。 White Lantana White Lantana seedling, recently planted in a pot. This Lantana also bloomed for the first time.  他に蕾もついています。 楽しみ〜！ There are also buds. I'm looking forward to seeing them open! |

| 復活！ ランタナは、春に咲き始めましたが、病気になって 丸ごと死んでしまったかに見えました。 ですが、また元気になって咲き始めました。 嬉しい！ Rebirth! Lantana started to bloom in spring, but it looked sick and seemed to die entirely. However, it became fine again and began to bloom. I am glad!  |

| 最近お気に入りの場所 垣根扱いのお茶の木の根元です。 花のシーズン終了後に、夫Rが鉢植えから地植えにしました。 今年、元気に咲いてくれて嬉しいです。 残念ながら花の名前を忘れてしまいました。 Recently Favourite Corner Here is the foot of a tea bush looking like a hedge. My husband R replanted this flower in the ground from a pot after its flower season. I'm glad that it bloomed well this year. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the plant. |
