16日は、夫Rの在留カード申請の書類のために、彼と一緒に鎌倉市役所へ行きました。
帰りに、スーパーに寄りました。
スーパーで、'バジルサラダ' という野菜がありました。
ずいぶん前から市場に出ていたのかもしれませんが、私は初めて知りました。
バジルのスプラウトだと推測、興味を惹かれて購入しました。
色々と新商品が出るのだな〜と世の中の動きに感心し、たまの外出を嬉しく思いました。

On the 16th, I went to Kamakura Local Office to get some documents for applying my husband R's Zairyu Card : residence card, with him.
On the way back, we stopped by a supermarket.
There was a vegetable called 'Basil Salad'.
It may have been on the market for a long time, but I knew it for the first time.
I guessed it was a basil sprout, so I was curious and then I bought it.
I was impressed with the movement of the world that various new products are released, and I was happy to go out once in a while.

Wedding Anniversary Meal on 16th
 鯛のサラダと '幸せな義務' お刺身用の鯛も購入したので、サラダバジルと合わせてみました。 通常のバジルは味を独占しますが、 バジルサラダは香りがほんのりで 他の食材の味を引き立てます。 'サラダバジル'というネーミングになるほど〜..と納得しました。 お蕎麦と茶蕎麦のあまりものも短く切って使用。 多量に作ったポテトサラダ (左) は毎日食べてます。 私達はこういうことを '幸せな義務' : 'Happy Obligation' と呼んでいます。 Sea Bream Salad and 'Happy Obligation' I also bought sea bream for sashimi, so I tried it with salad basil. Normal basil dominates the taste, but basil salad has a slight aroma. Brings out the taste of other ingredients. I was convinced that the name was "salad basil". I cut left over soba and green tea soba into short pieces and used. I made a lot of potato salad (left) which we eat every day. We call this a 'Happy Obligation'. |
結婚記念日の14日のディナーのために用意していたビーフをようやく料理しました。
私もRも自分の好きな時に好きなだけ食べたり飲んだりするので、二人が同時にビーフステーキを食べられる状態 (腹具合？) になるのが難しいのです。

I finally cooked the beef I had prepared for our Wedding Anniversary 14th dinner.
Since both I and R eat and drink as much as and when we want, it can be difficult for two people to be able to be ready to eat beef steak at the same time.
3) アップルケーキ - 17日 / Apple Cake on 17th
ヴァレンタイン・ディのためにも結婚記念日のためにもケーキを作りませんでした。
17日の今日、ようやくアップルケーキを作りました。
何もかもがスローテンポな私です。
まあ、私のアップルケーキが遅くなることを気にする人は世の中にいませんから、'ようやく' と思うのは、自分自身に対してだけですね。
作れば、Rは喜ぶし、自分としてもなんとなく達成感がもてます。

Apple Cake on 17th
I didn't make cake for Valentine's Day or for our Wedding Anniversary.
Today on the 17th, I finally made an apple cake.
Everything is slow tempo for me.
Well, no one in the world cares about my apple cake being delayed, so I think 'finally' only to myself.
If I make it, R would be happy, and I could feel a sense of accomplishment.

| カレー・アップルケーキ? ケーキを焼き始めた後に大きな間違いに気がつきました。 シナモンだと思って使用したスパイスがクミンでした。 今回のシナモンは、あまり香りがしません。 これを作る時も 「シナモンの香りがやっぱりしないわ〜 」 と思いつつ、バサバサと振り入れてしまいました。 Rに話すと彼は笑いながら 「カレー・アップルケーキだね！」 と...。 ウッ、ウッ、ウッ......(涙!) Curry Apple Cake? I noticed a big mistake after I started baking the cake. I thought a spice was cinnamon and I used it, in fact it was cumin. The cinnamon this time doesn't smell so much. When I made this, I thought, "This cinnamon aroma doesn't come out at all", so I sprinkled it roughly. Later, talking to R, he laughed and said, "It will be a curry apple cake!" Oo, oo, oo.... (Tears!) |

| 焼き上がりがとても綺麗だったので、 その綺麗さがより自分を悲しくさせました。 The baked product was so beautiful that it made me more sad. |

| アップルケーキ シナモンの香りはしないけれど、普通のアップルケーキでした。 このことは良いことでしたが、クミンも匂わないのかしら？ という疑心が湧きました。 ですが、今は、美味しかったことを喜びましょう！ Apple Cake It doesn't smell of cinnamon, but this is an ordinary apple cake. This cake was good, but I was sceptical that cumin wouldn't smell either? But now let's rejoice that it is delicious!  |
来年はどんな形で結婚記念日を迎えるかわかりませんが、とにかく
二人とも元気で迎えられますように！
From the 12th to the 17th, I feel as if I've finished a menu for the wedding anniversary celebration from toast to dessert.
I don't know how the wedding anniversary will be celebrated next year, anyway I hope both of us will be well!
