1) 散在する島々 / Scattered Islands

ストックホルムは、ストックホルム諸島 (Stockholm archipelago) を構成する島々の内、14の小島で成り立っています。

ストックホルム市庁舎 / Stockholms stadshus は、ノルマルム本土 (mainland Norrmalm) にはなく、クングスホルメン島 / Kungsholmen の東南の端、メーラン湖畔にあります。

ですが、日本もまあ、島国で、実は、6,852島からなる国なんですね〜。

(知らなかった！)

私と夫Rが、ストックホルム市庁舎見学を終了した後に、私は、ドロットニングホルム宮殿 / Drottningholms slottへ観光船で行こうと計画をしていました。

ガイドブックやネットの情報では、

'ドロットニングホルム宮殿への船着場は、'ストックホルム市庁舎近く'

と説明されています。

ですが、私達は、いつものように。オロオロし、船着場に到着するのに時間がかかり、ちょうど良い出発時間のフェリーに乗れませんでした。

世界遺産のビルカ遺跡 / Birkaもメーラン湖のビェルケ島、世界遺産のホーヴゴーデン遺跡 / Hovgården はメーラン湖のアデルスユー島 / Adelsö にあります。

私は、ビルカ遺跡とホーヴゴーデン遺跡に惹かれていましたが、メインの計画には入れることができませんでした。

けれども、現地でもしも、機会が作れたら行きたいと心算していました。

ドロットニングホルム宮殿行きのフェリーと同じ乗り場から、ビルカ行きのボートも出ているのを知り、その時刻表を写真(下)に取りました。

そのほかにも、ゴットランド島のハンザ同盟都市ヴィスビュー、世界遺産の "エーランド島南部の農業景観" があるエーランド島も行きたい島でした。

ゴットランド島は、スウェーデン最大の島であり、バルト海で最大の島でもあります。

に登場する街「コリコ」は、ストックホルムとともに、このヴィスビューをモデルにしています。

また、『ニルスのふしぎな旅』

1906年第一部出版 / 1907年第二部出版 / 福音館書店]

にも登場します。

ゴットランド島には、飛行機が交通手段の中にあり、ストックホルムからの所要時間は45分なので、ストックホルム滞在でも可能に思えましたが、いつもの私達の力量を思うと、まあ、こういう場所は宿泊しなくてはなりません。

結局、ビルカ、ホーヴゴーデン、ヴィスビュー、エーランド島にはこの旅行でゆくことができませんでした。

メインの計画でさえ、遂行できない私達には、所詮、高望み。

ベンチに座り、メーラン湖を眺めつつ、私の中では、色々な気持ちが行き交い、悶々し、ました。

グルグルとした気持ちを抱きつつ、出発の時間を待ちました。

Scattered Islands

Stockholm is made up of 14 islets among the islands that make up the Stockholm archipelago.

Stockholm City Hall / Stockholms stadshus isn't located on the mainland Norrmalm, but on the shores of Lake Malar / Mälaren, at the southeast corner of Kungsholmen
Island.

However, Japan is also an island country, in fact, a country consisting of 6,852 islands. (I did not know!)

After I and my husband, R, have finished the tour of Stockholm City Hall, I had planned to go to Drottningholm Palace / Drottningholms slott by sightseeing boat.

Guidebooks and information on the Internet describe the tours as leaving from the

'Ferry landing to Drottningholm Palace near Stockholm City Hall'.

But, as usual, we took a while to get to the ferry landing and we couldn't get a ferry with a good departure time.

Birka, a World Heritage site, is also located on the island of Björkö in Lake Malar, and Hovgården is a World Heritage site on the Lake Mälaren island of Adelsö.

I was fascinated by the Birka and Hovgården ruins, but I couldn't get trips which focused on them.

If I have the opportunity, I would like to go there.

I found a boat for Birka from the same landing as Drottningholm Palace, so I took
a photograph, above, of the timetable.

Other than that, I also wanted to visit Visby on the island of Gotland which was one of the Hanseatic cities : Hanseatic League, and Stora Alvaret on the island of Öland, World Heritage site.

Gotland is Sweden's largest island and also the largest in the Baltic Sea.

Stockholm as well as "Visby, in Gotland, were the model for the town ; "Koriko" depicted in the film : "Kiki's Delivery Service" [1989 / Original : Eiko Kadono / 1935 ~ Director: Hayao Miyazaki / 1941 ~)].

And also Gotland is in "The Wonderful Adventures of Nils "

[by Selma Ottilia Lovisa Lagerlöf (1858 - 1940) / 1906 &1907 / Fukuinnkan-Shoren Publishers inc.].

Aeroplane is one of transportations for Gotland, and the journey time is 45 minutes from Stockholm, so it seemed possible to stay in Stockholm, however, considering our usual ability, well, we would have to stay in such places.

I couldn't get to Birka, Hovgården, Visby or Öland in this trip.

After all, my hope was too high because we could not carry out even the main plan.

While sitting on the bench and looking at Lake Malar, I was dispirited, various feelings flew back and forth, and I was frustrated.

I waited for the time to depart with mixed feelings.

2) ドロットニングホルム宮殿へ / To Drottningholm Palace

乗船

ようやく、乗船時間が来ました。

フェリーと言っても、蒸気船でした。

このボートはランチを提供していますが、私達は乗るだけにしました。

Finally, the boarding time has come.

Even if it says a ferry, it was a steamship.

This boat serves lunch, but we just travelled.

クングスホルメン島の東南の船着場
市庁舎の西に続く船着場です。
ここでドロットニングホルム宮殿行きの船の船着場を探し、時間を無駄にしました。

Wharf at Southeast of Kungsholmen Island
It is a docking point that continues to the west of the city hall.
We lost time by looking for the dock for a boat to Drottningholm Palace.
