William Brown Street
ウィリアムブラウンストリート (William Brown Street) と
デュークストリート (Duke Street) は、世界遺産で、
私達はウィリアムブラウンストリートだけ行きました。
ウィリアムブラウンストリートは美術館、博物館、図書館、
セントジョージ ホールの通りです。
私達は
世界博物館 (World Museum)、
ウォーカー美術館 (Walker Art Gallery)
に行きました。
ですが全館、見る事はできませんでした。
William Brown Street
William Brown Street and Duke Street are World Heritage sites.
We only went to William Brown Street. On the street are the World Museum, the Walker Art Gallery, the Central Library and St. George's Hall.
We visited the museum and the gallery, although we did not see every floor.

トロピルな花は開館中は咲き、閉館はしぼんでいました。
このアイディアはおもしろく、楽しいと思いました。

テイトリヴァプールのミュージアムショップで、黄色一色の子羊の
ポストカードを見ました。
その制作者がたしか日本人で、太郎知恵蔵という方 。
私は初めて知ったアーティストです。

I saw Cows statues in Edinburgh, Pigs in Bath, Elephants in London and now Lambs in Liverpool!

I looked at a post-card of an all-yellow lamb statue.
The work was designed by Japanese artist, Taro Chiezo.
This was the first time, I heard his name.
The name of the yellow lamb is Superlambanana.
If you look at the picture of the lamb, you could laugh at the name.

閉館まぎわに行ったので、
1階 'クラフトアンドデザイン' の部屋だけ見ました。
でも、とてもおもしろいアーティストの作品が見られたので満足！

We went to the gallery just before closing, so we only visited 'Craft and Design Gallery', although I was quite pleased, because I found very interesting work by artist Diana Dias-Leão.
She made dresses by fragments and wire.

Rのご両親がマンセスターに住んでいるので、そこを訪ねました。
また彼の学生時代からの湯人Mも住んでいるので、
そこも訪ねました。
そこではMの手料理を美味しくいただきました。
ごちそうさまあ〜〜！
I visited R's parents, who live in Manchester.
And also R's close friend lives there too, so we visited him.
He cooked our meal. We enjoyed the meal.
