１）訪問 / Visiting

鎌倉のアーティストで友人の、こじま さとみ ちゃんの家を初めて
訪ねました。

彼女の手料理、美味しい豆カレーや、夏のサラダなどなど、ごちそうになりました。

お土産に彼女の手作りブルージャムや野菜もいただきました。

何もかも、どうもありがとう！！！

彼女は鎌倉に住んで８年になります。

彼女の生活は、私が、鎌倉の古民家でアーティストがスタジオを持ったり、生活したりしたら、こんな感じなのだろうな〜と思い描いていたものに、とても近い生活ぶりでした。

旅行者は、鎌倉で古民家を見たり、そこで食事やお茶を飲んだりすることを好みます。

私も好きです。

彼女の家に入るなり、私は、

素敵！

素敵！

を連発、興奮してしまいました。

そのおかげで彼女の猫のイルヨちゃんに毛を逆立てられてしまいました。

ごめんね、イルヨちゃん。

次回は気をつけます。

階段途中のデッドスペースを利用して
かわいらしいヨットが飾ってあります。
港に停泊中のヨットのようで、素敵なアイディア!
The lovely yacht is displayed in a dead space by the stairs.
It is a good idea, 
the yacht looks like it stays in port.

Visiting

It was the first time that I visited my friend, Satomi Kojima who is an artist in Kamakura. 

For lunch she had made a delicious beans curry with summer salad and others.

She also gave me hand-made blueberry jam and vegetables as souvenirs.

Thank you very much for everything you have done!

She has lived in Kamakura for 8 years.

Even before I moved to Kamakura I imagined that if an artist lives and has their studio in Kamakura then it would be an old house : 'KOMINKA'.

Her style of living and the studio are close to my images.

Nowadays some people like 'KOMINKA' which have an atmosphere of  the Showa period and are somehow stylish for them. 

And also tourists expect to find 'KOMINKA' atmosphere in Kamakura where they would have a meal or refreshment. 

I do like to too.

Just as I went into her house,

I said 

Lovely!

Lovely!

many times and I was excited.

So her cat, 'Iruyo' chan was with raised hackles. 

Sorry, Iruyo chan. 

I will take care next time. 

2) 写真 / Photographs

プライベートの生活部分も、すごく雰囲気があります。

ランチのためのテーブル セッティングは、ナチュラルテイストです。

家のそこ、ここに、彼女のセンスの良さや、思想が感じられました。

残念ながら、ここにはそれらの写真はありません。

ですが、スタジオやディスプレイの写真でも、ある程度は感じていただけるのではないかと思います。

Her living area has an attractive atmosphere.

Her table setting for lunch shows me her natural taste. 

I felt her good sense and thoughts are everywhere in the house. 

Unfortunately, I cannot show you.
                                                                                                       However, I think you can feel to some of her attractive atmosphere from these photographs of studio and displays.

2) 彼女の作品 / Her works

Satomiちゃんの作品には、浮遊感があり、手足をじょじょにのばしていけるような世界を感じます。

ですが、単なるリラックスする雰囲気とは違って、危機感も同時に存在していて、何かに挑むような空気もあります。

雲の上でねていて、気持ちよいけれど、雲の端をこえたら落ちちゃうよ！(だから端のことは意識してようね)

という感じ？

彼女の世界は魅惑的な場所に感じます。

Her works

I think her works have anacatesthesia (floating feeling), and I gradually feel my arms and legs stretch in her world. 

However, the world is not just simple relaxing atmosphere. 

There is a sense of impending crisis in the same place. 

There is an air which requires you to do something.

Imagine you lie down above clouds and feel comfortable, although if you roll over the edge of the cloud, you would drop.

I feel like that from her pictures.

Her world is a seductive place for me. 

暑い夏の気温が伝わってきます。
陽炎がたっているのが見えます。
I feel the temperature of hot summer.
I can see heat haze.

不思議な魅力を感じます。
I feel a wondrous charming world. 

おもしろいセンスだな〜と思います。
I think the sense is interesting.

"World Order" (世界秩序)

1) "World Order" (世界秩序)

A. H さんから / From H san

仙台の友人Hさんから"World Order" というグループを教えていただきました。

以前は格闘技家でらした須藤元気さんをリーダーとするグループです。

最初に彼らのパフォーマンスをYouTubeで見たとき、とても衝撃を
受けました。
そして笑いもいただきました！

まだ格闘家であったときの須藤さんの姿をYouTubeで見ると、

その登場の仕方に、"World Order"の片鱗を見ます。

その中でアナウンサーが叫びます。

「既成概念をぶちこわす、須藤元気！!」

世界秩序をぶちこわす"World Order"なんですね、なるほど〜〜！

そう、理解して良いのかな？

My friend H in Sendai, told me about a performance group 
"World Order".

Mr. Genki Sudo was a martial arts fighter, he is the leader of 
"World Order."

They made a strong impact on me, when I first watched their performance in You Tube.
And also they made me laugh.

I also watched in YouTube when Mr. Sudo was still a martial arts fighter and how he came to the stage. 

I could see a glimpse of "World Order".

In the YouTube film, an announcer shouts
'Genki Sudo breaks Preconceived Ideas!'

"World Order" tries to break world order, doesn't it?
Indeed!

Is my understanding alright ?

B. 背広姿 / Business Suit 

背広姿の彼らのパフォーマンスを楽しく感じながらも、
これは風刺なのかしら？
と思ったり、
何かをサポートするための行為なのかしら？
と思ったり......

時々、プッ！と吹き出すほどおかしかったりします。

動きそのものに、オーっ！と感動もします。

彼らのパフォーマンスはアニメーションダンスと名付けられ、
おかしな魅力があります。

"World Order"  は(日本の)社会を、日本人を、風刺していると思います。
また、彼らは彼ら自身を揶揄しているようにも見受けられます.....。

"World Order" 、おもしろ〜い！

R は嫌いだそうです。(笑)
何故、私のブログに載せるのか、わからないと言います。

まあ、風刺とか、スポーツとか、そういう方面は、ちょっと苦手な私ですが、たまには良いでしょう？

Business Suit 
While I watched and felt pleased with their performance wearing business suits, 
I was wondering  
'Is this satire?'
'Does their act support a cause?'

Sometimes I burst out laughing.

Their motion made me go WoW!

Their dance is called an animation dance and is funny attractive.

I think "World Order" is a lampoon about a social world and Japanese people. 

It seems that the dance makes fun of themselves.

"World Order" is fun!

By the way R hates the little bit he heard.(laugh)

He said to me he does not understand why I put about them in my blog.

Well, it is difficult for satire and sport areas to deal with me, although 
it is alright once in a blue moon, isn't it?



C. パフォーマンス / Performance 

YouTubeには彼らのパフォーマンスがたくさんあります。
その中から二つを紹介します。

You Tube has many of their performance films. 
I introduce to you two films.

初めて見たときよりも、いくつか見ると、だんだんと感動は少なくなってゆくのでしょう。

彼らが世の中に知れ渡った後、彼がどのように展開してゆくのか、
そこが彼らの更なる課題なのかもしれません。

After watching some clips, my impressions were gradually reduced. 

I guess other people would feel the same.

As they become better known, I think their task is to see how they can improve.


2) 集団行動 / Shudankoudo : Group Action

A. 男性による演技 / Play by Men

YouTubeで、"World Order"を見ていたら、'集団行動'というパフォーマンスまたはスポーツの動画を見つけました。

おそらく、日本体育大学の学生です。

彼らには風刺の気持ちはないと思います。

しかし、彼らの意志に風刺があろうが、なかろうが、'男性達が背広を着て、集団行動をする'というパフォーマンスの中にすでに風刺があるので、そこに生まれるおかしみは已然存在しています。

ただ、体育館という場所で演じる行為が実は、風刺の対象となる一般社会にはまってしまっています。

既成概念の中にあるとも言えます。

この"集団行動"は日本体育大学の40年以上続く伝統行事で、
「歩く芸術」と呼ばれているそうです。

スーツ着用を最初からしているとすれば、"World Order" のほうが、
このアイディアを借りたのかもしれませんね。

''集団行動''の中に、アニメーションダンスは、ありません。

私は"World Order"のアニメーションダンスの中には、時間に追われる社会人への風刺が込められていると思っているのですが、集団行動の動画にはそれがないのです。

それでも、'見せ物 / ショー'として、彼らの演技はそれなりにおもしく見られます。

Play by Men
When I watched some "World Order" films, I found a film "Shudankoudo : Group Action" which is a performance or type of sport. 

Perhaps they are students in Nihon Sport Science University .

I think they do not intend to be satirical.

However, whether they do or not, it is satirical that they wear business suits for their performance, and it still makes something funny. 

Just one thing, their act is in a gymnasium that falls into general pubilic, which is a target of the satire. 

In other words, they follow stereotype.

Their "Shudankoudo : Group Action" is over 40 years traditional events of Nihon Sport Science University  and it is called 'Walking Art.'

 If they wear business suits from beginning, ''World Order'' might borrow this idea.

I think that the ''World Order'' animations are a satire on people who are pressed for time, although this film does not have animation dance.

It means they do not try to be satirical.

However, their act  is interesting in its own way as a show.

B. 女性による演技 / Play by Women 

集団行動のパフォーマンスは、すべて男性によるものでしたが、
女子学生によるものもありました。

下記の映像は女性による初めての"集団行動"の演技です。

彼女らの動きは素晴らしいと思いますが、見慣れてしまったせいか、感動はあまりありません。

そしてここに、風刺の姿勢は全く感じられません。

彼女らはただ、この'集団行動'というパフォーマンスをスポーツとして、体操としてとらえているのです。

彼女らの衣装は、単純に統一されることが目的、白という色で、女性であることをアピールしているのでしょう。

私には、フライトアテンダント(またはキャビンクルー)のように思えました。
(日本人のフライトアテンダントと言うべきかも？)

女性らしさは失わず、きびきびと動き、それぞれが単独に動きつつも、統一性があるというところが似ているのだと思います。

スポーツ世界では有名な、清原伸彦氏によって彼女らは指導を受けました。
彼については、"テレビ紹介情報"にまとめられています。

'集団行動'のパフォーマンスと"World Order" に、共通しているのは、チームワークの精神です。

ですが、求めているものは違うのだと思います。

時間がたつと、"World Order"  の求めているのものは(私が推測している)、なくなって行き、結局は'集団行動'とかわりないものになってしまうのではないかと勝手に心配します。

Play by Women 

Before this film, "Shudankoudo : Group Action" were all played by men.

It was the first time that "Shudankoudo : Group Action" was all acted by women.

I think their movements were wonderful, although I was not impressed so much, because I am used to see these kinds of thing. 

And also I do not feel any kind of satire here.

They just did "Shudankoudo : Group Action" as a performance or sport or gymnastics. 

Their costume is just for the purpose of being unified, and showing their femininity with the  by the colour white. 

I think they look like female Flight Attendants (or Cabin Crew).
(I might say that they should be Japanese Flight Attendants.)

They and "Group Action" women are similar in that they do not lose femininity, they have nimble moving, and they move individually, although they still have uniformity.

They were coached by Mr. Nobuyuki Kiyohara, who is a famous authority in the sport world, particularly in Nihon Sport Science University .

A common characteristic to the performance of  'Group Action' and "World Order" is the spirit of teamwork, however, their desires are different. 

Over time, I worry that ''World Order'' will loose their desire (my guessing), then it will be the same as 'Group Action'.
