5.あじさい寺 - 竹庭 / Hydrangea Temple - Bamboo Garden

竹庭の近くに大きな白い葉がありました。

何でしょう？

A plant has big white leaves, near bamboo garden.

What is this?

夏蝋梅(ナツロウバイ)と竹
Chinese sweetshrub and Bamboo

夏椿(ナツツバキ)に似ていますね。
It is similar to Natsu Tsubaki :
Stewartia pseudocamellia

ここにどうして？と思わせる置物。
石庭と同じように、何かの世界を作り出しているのでしょうか？
These Ornaments make me wonder, why are they here?
Do they try and make a world like Sekitei:
Stone Garden : Zen Garden (click this)?

実際は竹の根本で土の上、
けれども空の上を表現しようとしているのかもしれません。
These Ornaments are set in the ground and right next to giant bamboo,
perhaps they might create a world above the sky?

3.あじさい寺 - あじさい / Hydrangea Temple- Hydrangea

1) 2012年6月1日/ 1st June 2012

6月1日~30日まで、明月院は、あじさい寺として来場者をむかえます。通常拝観料は300円ですが、シーズン中は500円です。

私が母と姉と訪ねたのは1日。

あじさいはほとんど咲いていませんでしたが、お天気が良かったので、それなりに楽しめました。

1st June 2012

On 1st ~ 30th June, Meigetsuin has visitors as Hydrangea Temple.

Normally the admission fee is 300 Yen, although it becomes 500 Yen in Hydrangea Season.

I visited there with my mother and sister on1st June.

Most hydrangea do not blossom yet, although it was a lovely day, so we enjoyed it in its own way.

95 % of their hydrangea are Hime Ajisai : Princess Hydrangea,
because the flower is pretty, small and elegant.

The colour changes from pale blue to sky blue or sea blue.

2009年の最終日にもRと訪ねています。

そのときの方が今回よりもあじさいは咲いていました。

なので、そのときの写真をここにご紹介します。
