ヘルシンキ・ヴァンター 国際空港から、市内中心地までは、いくつかの方法があり、私達は電車 (鉄道)を選びました。
電車は山手線のように、内回り、外回りあり、どちらに乗っても約30分内に
ヘルシンキ中央駅 (Helsinki Central railway station / Helsingin päärautatieasema)
に到着します。
宿泊地到着後の予定は決めていなかったので、空港のキオスク(Kioski)で、バス、電車(地下鉄)、トラムなどが使用できる、2時間指定のカード (Helsinki Seudun Liikenne) を買いました。
電車のプラットホームまで、結構歩きます (約15分？) が床がスムーズなので、スーツケースを持っていても容易でした。
カードを車内の機械にタッチ、車内は混んでいず、景色を眺めつつ、快適に過ごしました。
駅に到着すると、改札はなく、到着したプラットホームはそのまま一般道に通じていて
「えっ？」
と多少驚きつつも、そこは私達の宿泊地方面上でしたので、そのまま向かいました。
途中地図を見ていると、男性が声をかけてくださり、助けてくれました。
ヘルシンキ滞在中、迷っていると、いくどとなく、こちらが問いかける前に地元の方が助けてくれ、ヘルシンキの印象がとても良いものになりました。
私達はスマフォを持っていないので、現地で検索できませんが、そのかわりに人々と関わりを持ち、国民性を感じることもできたのかなとも思います。

There are a few approaches from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to central Helsinki and we decided on using a train (railways).
The train has inner and outer tracks to Helsinki Central railway station (Helsingin päärautatieasema) from the Airport, both take about 30 minutes.
We did not have a plan after our place of stay, bought travell cards (Helsinki Seudun Liikenne) at a Kiosk (Kioski) in the Airport which we could use on buses, trains including underground, trams and others for two hours.
We walked to the platform, quite far (about 15minutes?), although the floor is smooth, even we moved suitcases easily.
We touched our cards on a machine in the train and there was not crowded in the train, so we looked at views from windows and were comfortable.
After arriving in the station, there was not a ticket gate and our platform led onto
a public road,
"What?",
we were a little surprised, though there was on our way to our accommodation and we started towards there.
On our way when we looked at a map for the accommodation, a man enquired and helped us.
In Helsinki, if we got lost, the local people helped us before we asked, so our impression became very good about Helsinki.
We do not have a smartphone, we could not research there, we could connect with the people instead and I think I feel the nationality.

一般のホテルではなく、キッチン付きの
ウィークリーまたはマンスリーマンションです。
駅から徒歩で10~15分くらいで
便利で静かな場所にあり、トラムを利用すればより楽です。
初日はスーツケースがありましたし、迷いもしたので
電車到着後から30分以上かかってしまったかもしれません。
住人の方もこのドアを使用しますが、
彼らは、宿泊者とは違うエレベーターを使用します。
Hellsten Helsinki Parliament
It is not a normal hotel, but apartment rented with a kitchen.
It takes 10~15minutes on foot from the station, there is useful position and quiet,
if we use trams, even more easily.
On our first day, we had suitcases and got lost,
it might be over 30 minutes after our train arrived in the station.
The inhabitants use this door, however, most use a different lift from us.
最上階から2番目に宿泊
5泊して１度の掃除。
2枚のうち1枚の掛け布団が臭って使用できませんでした。
Rが夜の担当者に伝えましたが翌日なにも対処されなかったのが残念。
そのほかに不満に思うことはありませんでした。
( 低)価格とサービス、設備があっていると思いました。
We stayed on the next top floor.
Cleaning is once in 5 nights
One of two duvets was very smelly so we could not use it.
R explained the problem to a night staff,
they did not do anything the next day, that was too bad.
I did not feel discontented about other things.
I think the (low?) cost suits the services and facilities.

| 螺旋階段の真ん中にエレベーターが組み込まれているような感じです。 It looks as though the lift was put in the centre of a spiral staircase.  このエレベーターの形式(螺旋階段への組み込みではありません)は この建物だけでなく、百貨店でも使用されていたので、 ヘルシンキでは結構一般的なのかもしれません。 私達が日本や英国で、通常目にする、すべて自動のエレベーターもあります。 This method is not only in this building, but also I saw in a department store, so it might be a normal in Helsinki. In Helsinki, there are all automatic lifts too, like we usually see in Japan and Britain. |

目の前にはカフェもあり、朝から開いています。
私達は利用しませんでした。近所にほかのカフェ、デリカテッセン、ジャズバー、
レストランなどいくつかあり、シベリウス公園、テンペリアウキオ教会、
フィンランド国立博物館もあります。

Nearby
there are other cafes, delicatessens, a jazz bar, restaurants
and Sibelius Park (Sibeliuksenpuisto), Rock Church (Temppeliaukio Church / Temppeliaukion kirkko ) and National Museum of Finland. |
ここに泊まって良かったです。
次回があれば、似たような条件で探して、ほかが見つからなければ、またここにしても良いと思います。
It was good we stayed here.
If we have a next chance, research with similar conditions, and I will not find any alternative, I would not mind here again.
