鎌倉の若い友人Mちゃんは、鎌倉女学院・高等部に通っています。
この日は文化祭があり、Rと私で行きました。
School's Cultural Festival 2nd of October 2016
Our young friend, M Chan goes to
a senior-high-school section of Kamakura Jogakuin
which is a girls' school in Kamakura.
R and I visited their Festival on the day.
アニメ国または漫画国である日本を思わせるキャラクターが
出迎えてくます。
The character which welcomes us reminds me that
Japan is a country of animation and Manga.
ウィリアム・ワーズワース [William Wordsworth / 1770 - 1850]の言葉、
'The
Child is father of the Man'
が壁に刻まれています。
もとはウィリアム・ワーズワースの詩：
"My Heart Leaps Up"または
"The Rainbow"から。
彼自身が、彼の幼児期が大人になった彼の思考を作ったと考えました。
もしくは子供の頃の感性を忘れずにいたいという願いもあるかと思います。
このフレーズは、
「三つ子の魂百までも」
とか
「こどもは大人の父である」
とか
訳されるようです。

様々な展示室を見たり、校庭で剣道の試合を見たり、Mちゃん所属のバスケット部のイベントを見たりして、楽しみました。
鎌女のオーケストラの演奏が体育館で行われていて、それは本格的で、びっくりしました。
私が公立高校生のときは、ぼ〜っと過ごしていましたが、ここの生徒さんは、前向きに何かに励んでいる様子で、私立の良さを感じました。
もしかしたら、私が行った田舎の公立高校が特別のんびりしていたのかもしれませんし、私がただのんびりしていたのかもしれません。
何しろ、あそこの校庭には、ひばりが巣をつくるくらいの環境でしたから....。
We enjoyed looking at many types of display rooms, visiting the schoolyard where they had matches of Kendo : Japanese fencing and an event by the basketball club which M Chan belongs to.
We were so impressed by Kamakura Jogakuin's Orchestra's serious musical performance held in a gymnasium.
When I was a rural public high-school student, I was carefree, however, Kamakura Jogakuin's students work hard positive to something so I feel the merit of a private school.
Maybe just my public high-school was easy-going or maybe only I was carefree.
Anyway, my public high-school 's environment was such that a lark made its nest in my high-schoolyard.
Rがもっとも楽しんだのは、書道を実際にしたことでした。
R most enjoyed when he tried Shodo, which is Japanese calligraphy.

先生のお手本
Rは、"花火" を選び、Mちゃん先生がお手本を書いてくれました。
Sample by the Teacher
R selected a Word : "花火" : "Hanabi", means a firework,
and M Chan Sensei wrote a sample.

| "Mちゃん先生"に指導されつつ.... He is writing while M Chan Sensei teaches.... |

| "Mちゃん先生"は、なんどもお手本を書いて見せてくれました。 ところで彼らは水を使って書いています。 紙によって色の出方がちがうのですよね。 この方法は良いアイディアだと思います。 ただし、乾くと消えてしまいます。 M Chan Sensei showed him example writings many times. By the way, they used water for writing. The colour appears depending on the type of paper. I think this way is a good idea. However, after drying, the writing will disappear. |
