"Nukunuku" and "Gallery Shozan, Yuigahama"
木工作家、今井 茂淑 (1953 - )さんからDMが届きました。
私の個展："Coonie's Space Quest in Kamakura, 2015"を開催した時に、彼と知り合いました。
個展については下記。

そのとき初めて彼の作品 (★) を見て、素敵だな〜と思いました。
今井さんの今回の個展会場は、私とRが好きな "カフェ&ギャラリー温々(ヌクヌク)" でした。
"温々" 公式サイト : ★
"温々" は、辺鄙な場所で、多くの来訪者は車を使用します。
私たちが温々へ行く場合は、姉が車で連れて行ってくれます。
"温々"は、人気があり、特に週末、祝日は、駐車場の空き待ちもしばしばで、今回も私たちは、少し待ちました。

"Nukunuku" and "Gallery Shozan, Yuigahama"
I was sent a DM for Shigetoshi Imai's exhibition, he is a craftsman in wood.
When I held my exhibition :"Coonie's Space Quest in Kamakura, 2015", I got to know him.

My Exhibition in 2015 was in "Gallery Shozan, Yuigahama", which is in a corner of the garden previously own by a painter, Asai Keitaemon (1901-1983).
Kanuemon Asai: ★ /★
For the first 4 days of my exhibition, Imai had held his exhibition in the main building.
Website : ★ and ★ only in Japanese.
At that time, I saw his work (★) and thought that it was nice ~.
At this time, his exhibition was in "Cafe & Gallery Nukunuku" which is I and R's favourite.
"Cafe & Gallery Nukunuku", Official Website : ★ (only in Japanese)
"Nukunuku" is in a remote place, many visitors use cars.
When we go to "Nukunuku", my sister drives for us.
"Nukunuku" is popular, especially on weekends or on holidays, we often wait for parking and we waited a bit this time as well.

2) 今井茂淑 個展 / Shigetoshi Imai Exhibition
今井さんは、古材を使用して家具やオブジェを制作しています。
He uses old wood for his furniture and objects.

| 花器には花が活けられていました。 以前は、奥様の京子さんが活けられていましたが、 今回は今井さん自身の手によるものでした。 センスが似ているので、奥様の手によるものだと私は思いました。  |

| There were flowers in the flower vase. In the past, his wife, Kyoko San arranged the flowers, though this time he did. At first I thought Kyoko San had arranged flowers because their sense is similar.   今回は花器が多く感じました。 I felt there were many flower vases this time.  |

| ロッククライミングしているワイヤーのフィギュア 遊び心が感じられます。 このフィギュアの存在に気づいたのは、私が二人目だそうです。 今井さんは、案外、人は気がつかないものだと言って 私が気がついたことを喜んでくださいました。 三番目はRのようです....。  Wire Figures, Rock Climbing I feel his playfulness. | ポストカードフレーム ポストカードフレーム3点とマテ箸2点を購入。 マテは木材のひとつで、以前は千葉で炭焼きの材料だったそうです。 どれも我が家で活躍中。 Post-card Frames We bought 3 postcard- frames and 2 pairs of Mate Chopsticks. Mate is a wooden which was used to make charcoal in Chiba Prefecture. All of them are used in our home now. |
鎌倉から出かけて、本当によかったです。
京子さんにもお会いできると期待していましたが、お会いできず、それがちょっと残念でした。
帰り際、駐車場まで今井さんに見送っていただき、恐縮です...ありがとうございました。
また、今井さんにも作品にもお目にかかれることを願っています。

We were really pleased that we visited here from Kamakura.
I expected to see Kyoko San, although I could not see her, it was a bit disappointing.
I really appreciate Imai who came to see us off from the carpark.
Hopefully, I will see Imai and his work again.
3) カフェ / Cafe
カフェ部分が改装され、商品棚が減り、カウンター席になっていました。
壁を見ながらのカウンター席で、あそこにはすわりたくないな〜と思います。
また、メニューの内容も少し都会風カフェに変えられていました。
都会風にしたら、Rの食べられるものが減ってしまいました (苦笑)。
駐車場でも待ちましたが、カフェも席が空くのを待ちました。
満席...やっぱり、温々は人気店ですね〜。

I do not want to sit in the counter seats facing a wall.
Also, the content of the menu had changed a little to urban-style cafe.
It became urban food, that R could eat less than before (Wry smile).
We waited for the parking and also waited for our table.
There was packed ... after all, Nukunuku is popular, isn't it?
