昨年友人Kからイタリア土産としてもらったカレンダーと
大昔に他の方からいただいた豚ちゃんたちがなんとなく合うな〜と思い、
隣同士にしてみました。
気がついたら、どちらもメインドンイタリー！
お国柄ってあるのね〜と納得

Same Country
The calendar was from my friend K as her Italian souvenir last year and 
piggies were from another person a long long time ago.
Somehow I feel they suit each other and then I put them together.
Now I noticed both were made in Italy!
Indeed, there is national character.

2002年の個展のとき(下にDM)、記念ワインを作りました。
ワインボトルに直接彫り込みしてラベルを作りました。
その時の原画 (上の写真) がこれです。
ワインはマスターソムリエの高野 豊氏が選んでくれました。

I designed an anniversary wine for my exhibition, 2002(below the DM).

The bottle has a curving picture.
The original picture is above photograph.
A master sommelier Yutaka Takano selected the wine.

玄関
絵本のコーナーを作りたかったのですが、もう場所がなくて
玄関になってしまいました。

リトグラフと磁器の自作が額に入っています。
2012年の 個展（下記）に展示しました。

Entrance
I would like to make a corner for picture books,
however, there is not a space in the house, except for the entrance.

My work of lithograph and porcelain is in a frame.
The work was shown  in my exhibition, 2012 (below)

残念ながら一冊づつコメントする気力が今の私にはありません...すみません...

Unfortunately I do not have an energy for comments on each book for now, sorry.

１年を通して、ここが我家のディスプレイコーナーです。昨年はここにミニツリーを飾りました。
そのツリーは今年は仕事部屋です。

絵本は『サンタクロースからの手紙』(1976, 評論社) / 作画: J•R•R•トールキン (1892 -1973)  
編集: ベイリー•トールキン(トールキンの3男の妻） / 訳: 瀬田貞二 (1916- 1979)

表紙よりも裏表紙が好きなので、そちらを向けて飾っています。
初版日本語版と英語版は同じ年の出版だったのだと今になって気がつきました。

額入のカードは2007年個展: "Coonie's Space Quest in Britain" (ピンポイントギャラリー）のDM。
来年の個展のタイトルは、"Coonie's Space Quest in Kamakura, 2015"

Here is our display corner throughout the year. Last year, a mini-Christmas Tree was here.
This year the tree is in my studio. 

The Picture Book: "The Father Christmas Letters"(Japanese Edition, 1976)

Author and Illustrator: J.R.R. Tolkien (1892 -1973)
Edited : Baillie Tolkien (1941 -)
I prefer the back cover rather than the front cover, so I show the back. 
Now I recognized the first editions in Japanese and English were in the same year.

DM of my exhibition : "Coonie's Quest in Britain" (Pinpoint Gallery in Tokyo) is in a frame.
The title of next year's my exhibition is "Coonie's Space Quest in Kamakura, 2015.
