まあ、そのために私はこのサセックス旅行に来たのですが、ここにくる前には、'サセックスのリンゴ畑'を見ることも訪れることもできませんでした。

Well, so I made 'The Trip in Sussex', although I hadn't looked at and visited any Apple Orchard before this one.
If I hear 'English Apple', I immediately think about 'Pippin'.
In fact, I found out that 'Pippin' : Newtown Pippin or Albemarle Pippin : ★ was produced in USA and Britain imported this in 1759.
I am a little depressed that 'Pippin' was not born in Britain.
And also for me, 'Pippins' are red in colour, however, the original Newtown Pippin colour is yellow or light green.
In Britain, 'Pippin' normally means Cox's Orange Pippin : ★ / ★ whose colour is described as orange and red.
It is often difficult describing about colour.
Anyway, for me, Cox's Orange Pippin : ★ / ★ is Martin Pippin's apple.

もともとは、英国産ではなかったのねとちょっとがっかり.....
それに私にとってピピンは赤色でしたが、本来はみどりもしくは黄色なんですね。
英国で最も一般的なピピンはコックス•オレンジ•ピピン/Cox's Orange Pippin : ★ / ★ で、色はオレンジ？と赤？
色の表現は難しいです....。
