1) かわってゆくレイアウト / Layout Changes

平面作品とお皿は、即売しました。

空いたスペース後のレイアウトを考えたり、どの作品を選ぶかを考えたり、楽しかったです。


Layout Changes

I sold two-dimensional work and plates.  

I enjoyed making new layouts after the spaces became empty and selecting which works to display.

 Opening day, 23rd April

初日にできたスペースにリトグラフ作品 
"あなたが生まれた朝に": 写真内右下
を展示しました。

The space was made on first day, so I displayed a lithograph work : 
"On your Birthday Morning"; 
lower right in the photograph.

額入作品を額無しの小さなリトグラフ作品に変えました。
こちらの方が良いと思ったのですが、どうでしょう？

Framed work was changed to some small ones. 
I thought this is better than before, what do you think? 

    26日
25日(水)の終了時に2点売れて、木曜日の朝は空白のまま。
来客が続き、恥ずかしながら、
このままの状態で一日が終わってしまいました。

26th
 Two works were bought at the end of Wed. 25th. 
I was shamed to say that there were empty spaces for most of Thursday, because I had visitors continually through the day.

新しい作品を展示しました。

I displayed two new works.

2) 個別に / Individual Drawings

ドローイングの画材はカラーインク

カラーインクは発色は良いけれども、光(太陽光)に弱いです。

殆どのペイントの画材は太陽光によって変色しますから、
それをあえて画廊で説明する機会はあまりないかもしれません。

私はお客様によって説明したり、しなかったりしました。

説明することが、お客様に対して失礼なことになるかもしれない
と思う面もあるからです。

Drawings are in coloured ink.

All inks are bright, although they fade with sun light. 

Most paint mediums are changed by day light, so people in galleries do not dare to explain this. 

Sometimes I explained this, sometimes not, depending on the visitor, because I think that sometimes it is rude to the visitor.
