1) 素焼 / Biscuit Firing 

素焼終了
今回の初めてのオブジェの素焼が終了しました。
オブジェの場合は、素焼の段階でパーツが欠け落ちて
しまうこともありますが、これはありませんでした。

Finished Biscuit Firing 

This is the first biscuit firing for an object this time.

In the case of objects, sometimes parts may drop off 

during the biscuit firing, but not this time.

2) 本焼 / Glaze Firing 

本焼開始
11月15日に作った透明釉を初めて使用した本焼です。
食器は浸す方法が一般的です。
私は筆で釉薬を塗る方法もします。
今回は、筆で塗ってみました。

Start Glaze Firing 

This is the first glaze firing using

 the transparent glaze I made on 15th of November

Tableware is generally dipped.

I sometimes apply the glaze with a brush.

This time, I painted them with a brush.

本焼終了
透明釉に問題があるらしくいつもよりもかけたり、
ひびが、入ったりしました。
(11月20日)

Finished Glaze Firing 

There seemed to be a problem with the transparent glaze,

 and there are more cracks or breaks than usual.

(November 20th)

透明釉に水を足し薄めました。

次回は浸す方法で施釉 (シユウ) しようと思います。

I added water to the transparent glaze to dilute it.

Next time, I'm going to glaze by dipping them.
