本と展覧会が関連している、日本で初めての企画だと聞きました。
本は、私が好きな作家、原田マハさん作『ロマンシェ/ Romancier』です。
展覧会は、
「君が叫んだその場所こそがほんとの世界の真ん中なのだ」展
長いタイトルですね〜。
このタイトルは物語からの引用文です。
タイトルだけでなく、
作中の企画「イデム展、'東京ステーション・ギャラリー'で開催」
が物語から飛び出して、実際に行われました。

この展覧会は、イデムで制作された現代アート、オリジナル・リトグラフ、130点が展示されています。
昨年12月22日、ピンポイント・ギャラリーを訪ねた後に、この展覧会へ行きました。
ピンポイント・ギャラリー訪問については下記。
"東京ステーションギャラリー"へは、初めて行きました。
おそらく、『ロマンシェ』の読者は、都合がついたのなら、この展覧会に足を運んだことでしょう。
私は、展覧会後に、この本をミュージアムショップ・ TRAINIART (トレニアート)で買いました。
そうなのです、展覧会を見たときには、私はまだ本は読んでいなかったのです。
３月に入って読み始め、本日読み終えました。

| 東京駅といえば赤煉瓦 赤煉瓦 (アカレンガ) の壁に作品が展示され、 他の美術館やギャラリーとは違う雰囲気があります。 会場移動は階段を使用し、建物の構造を感じます。 また訪れたいギャラリーです。 Speaking of Tokyo Station, it is made of Red Bricks The works were displayed on the bare red brick walls which have a different atmosphere from other museums or galleries. When we moved between gallery levels we used stairs and I felt the construction of the building. I would visit the Gallery again. 東京駅丸の内駅舎

For the first time in Japan.
I
heard that it was the first time in Japan that there is a joint plan that a
book is written to relate with an Exhibition.
The
book is “Romancier” by Maha Harada, who is my favourite author.
The
Exhibition is
“Kimiga
Sakenda Sonobashokosoga Hontono Sekaino Chuoshinda” :

This
is a long title, isn't this?
The Exhibition title is a quote from “Romancier”.
Not only did the title appear from the story but also the plan to hold an exhibition : 'Idem Exhibition at Tokyo Station Gallery' was in the story, too.
This was the Exhibition. What was a fantastic plan!

In
the Book, 'the Idem' is a lithograph studio and is the most important
place and the centre of the story.
The idem lithograph studio exists in Paris, France.

author, Maha Harada was an art coordinator, a freelance curator.
The
plan and its realization were by none but her.
The
Exhibition displayed 130 Lithograph
Works by Contemporary Artists.
I visited the Exhibition after visiting Pinpoint Gallery, 22nd of December, 2015.

It was the first time I visited 'Tokyo Station Gallery' ; in the North Dome of the building on the Marunouchi side of Tokyo Station.
The building on the Marunouchi side of Tokyo Station, the
three-storey station building was designed by Tatsuno
Kingo (1854 - 1919), built in 1914 and was designated
an Important Cultural Property in
2003.
Probably the readers would visit the Exhibition, if they could.
After the Exhibition, I bought the book in the museum shop : TRAINIART.
Oh! Yes! I hadn't read the book when I saw the Exhibition.
I started reading it early in March.

At last, for me, the first time plan in Japan was completed today (Wry smile).

B. 展覧会 / Exhibition
'イデム / Idem 'が、'ムルロー工房' / 'Imprimerie Mourlot であった時期 (1976 ~1997) に、マチス (1869 - 1954) やピカソ (1881 - 1973)、
シャガール (1887 - 1985)、ミロ (1893 -1983)、ダリ (1904 - 1989) らの
近代美術の巨匠たちと仕事をしていました。
1997年、工房は、イデム / Idemという名に変わり、現在のオーナー、
パトリス / Patrice (実在の人物兼物語の登場人物) が運営をし、 世界各国のアーティストと仕事をしています。

会場には、展覧会のサブタイトルにあるように、20人の現代アーティストの作品が展示されていました。
それぞれの作品に、力があり、私の精神は、その力でぐりぐりと、ひっかきまわされました。
疲れた〜！
これは、良い疲労感です。
現代アートを見ると、たびたび、良い疲労感があります。

The current owner, Patrice Forest (? - ? / is a real person as well as a character in the story) has managed there since 1997 and since then the name has been
'Imprimerie Idem' and artists have come here from all over the world.
The Exhibition does indeed displayed works of 20 Contemporary Artists as the subtitle.
Each work has power, my thoughts were stirred by the power.
I was exhausted.
However, this was good tiredness.
After I have looked at Contemporary Art, I am often comfortably tired.

今の私は先生の作品が当時の私よりも好きかもしれません。
実は学生の私は、先生としての李氏が彼の作品よりも好きでした。

the University in Japan.
He opened the door of Contemporary Art World to me.
I
might like his work rather more now than when I was his student.

I was his student, I liked him as a teacher more than his works. |
2) デヴィッド・リンチ / David Lynch
李
禹煥 (リ・ウーファン /
Lee U-Fan / 1936 - ) 先生だけ、二人とも、好きなアーティストです。
彼のリトグラフ作品は世にすでに知られていたのです。(いつもながら、何も知らない私...)
彼の作品は、とても彼らしい、怖くて素敵！
米国のドラマ、”ツイン•ピークス" (Twin Peaks / 1990 -1991) は、とても面白く見ました。
彼の映像作品は、衝撃が強すぎて、なんども見ることはできませんし、もしくは、二度と見ることができないのにかかわらず、好きなのです。
リンチの映像は、私にとって、悪魔的魅力があり、そしてまた、リトグラフ作品も同様の魅力を持っています。
彼のリトグラフ作品でシャープさがある作品は好きですが、粘着性もしくは'生の苦悩'が強いのは苦手です。
この度合いは、彼の映像作品と同様かもしれません。

リンチの作品では、『雨の中の男』(2008) と『お前を連れて帰る』(2013) が心に残りました。
この2点は、黒と白のバランスやレイアウトの中に、狂気や恐怖がある程度整理されているのが感じられました。
彼の場合、整理は、研ぎ澄ますことであって、より作品の強さが増します。
整理されると最初の情熱が消える場合もありますが、さすが、リンチ！そうではないのですね。

| 『雨の中の男 』 デヴィッド・リンチ作、2008 リンチのすべての作品には、文字が入っています。 ポスターの感覚なのか、映画のセリフなのか、 文字による彼のダメ押しのメッセージを感じます。 私は文章がなくても良いように思います。 矛盾しますが、彼の文字 (レタリング) は魅力的なので、 取り去るのは惜しい気がするのも確かです。 ところで.... '黒い 雨'に原爆投下を連想するのは私 (もしくは日本人) だけでしょうか？ "Man in the Rain" By David Lynch (1946 -) , 2008 All his works have letters. This might be from his sense of film poster or cinematic speech, I feel he uses letters to be doubly sure we understand his opinion or messages. In my view, it is still good without letters. Although, contradicting myself, his lettering is charming so it is too good to take from his work. By the way... Do only I, or Japanese, feel 'Black Rain' is associated with atomic bombing? |
Of 20 Artists I only knew of David
Lynch (1946 -) and Lee
U-Fan (1936 - ) , who I both like.
This was the first time I knew David Lynch makes lithograph works.
Later I found out that he had a lithograph exhibition in Shibuya, Tokyo, 2014 ; ★ only in Japanese.
His lithograph work is popular. (I do not know anything as usual)

His lithograph is very Lynch, it is scary and lovely!
He can certainly construct his world, in whatever media.
I
do like his film work, 'Dune'
(1984), and I strongly remember a film : "Blue
Velvet" (1986), and I enjoyed a USA TV drama series,
"Twin Peaks"
(1990 -1991) .

films give me too much a shock, I could not watch them many times or I could never
see them again, even so I like his films.

films have 'Devilish Charm' for me, his lithograph works as
well.
I like his lithograph works which have sharpness, although I am weak about his lithograph works which are sticky or have direct anguish.
This might be similar to his films.

Take You to My House" (2008) and "I Take You
to My House" (2013) of his works remain
in my heart.
From the balances of black and white and the layouts I felt the relative tidiness the insanity and the dread in the two works.
In his case, the tidiness brings sharpening which makes works stronger.
Sometimes tidiness can weaken the early passion in a work, although Lynch is not like this.
For him, the tidying might be similar to editing of films.
Lynch is trained well in the balance of the tidying and the cry from his soul.

デヴィッド・リンチ作、2013 女性はこの絵を見て怯えるでしょう。 男性の思い込みは、腕力に転換されても、言葉の暴力になってもコワイ！ (女性の場合もあるでしょうけれど、ここでは、この絵についてですよ）
リンチのテーマは人間の狂気であると感じます。

Man's wrong impression is transformed into violence or forceful words both of which are frightening! (It might be the other way around, by women, anyway here is about this) |
リンチにとっての叫びの場所は、イデム工房なんですね。まあ、彼には他の場所もあるのでしょう。
自分にとっての世界の中心はいつも同じでなくて良いのです。 (と原田ハマさんは考えていると思います....)
The shouting place is Idem for Lynch. Well, he might have other places, too. It does not have to be a place in the Centre of the World. (I think the author, Maha Harada thinks like this...)
