英国 - ナルニア、そしてゲド / Narnia in Britain, and Earthsea // 個展のためお休みします/Pause from My Blog ; My Exhibition

1) 英国の思い出 / Memories in Britain

 昨年の今日は英国内旅行の初日でした。(参照: ❶ )

光陰矢の如し！

私の古いノートパソコンのCDの部分が当時から具合が悪く、
CDに旅行の写真をコピーしたものの、かなりの数のCDが新しいPCで開く事ができず、写真を見る事ができません。

このブログに載せている写真が私にとって、貴重度がましています。
Memories in Britain

 On the same day last year, we started Britain Trip. (See : ❶ )

Time flies!

My CD Drive in old PC was not working well in Britain.

I copied my photographs of the trip onto CDs there, although I can not open a few CDs in my new PC so I can not look at many photographs. 

 Therefore photographs in my blog become more precious for me.

2) 朝食とナルニア国物語 
    Breakfast and The Chronicles of Narnia
A. クランペットとナルニア / Crumpet and Narnia

 クランペットという英国のパン (上の写真) を朝食に食べました。

 私にとっては英国らしさを感じるのが、
『ナルニア国物語』( ; 『ナルニア』 表示) 
です。

『ナルニア'シリーズ』は、下記、７つの物語で、C.S.ルイスによって
書かれました。

今の時代では、ファンタジーの古典？作品となっているのかもしれません。

古くさい感じもしますが、それもまた英国らしいように
私には思えます。

『1.ライオンと魔女』のDVDを図書館から借りていたので観ました。

ルイスはトールキンの友人でしたが、トールキンが『ナルニア』の原稿を読み、酷評しました。

けれども『ナルニア』はルイスをとても有名にし、多くの読者を得てきています。

私がこれを読んだのはずっと前で、『魔術師のおい』まではおもしろく読みました。

'さいごの戦い にはがっくりしましたが、それでも結構好きな物語
です。


Crumpet and Narnia

I ate crumpet which is one of bread in Britain (top photograph). 

I feel British by "The Chronicles of Narnia".

I borrowed the DVD of "1. The Lion, the Withch and the Wardrobe" from Kamakura library. 
It is one of the series of "The Chronicles of Narnia" and I watched.

"The Chronicles of Narnia" : 'Narnia' is a series of seven fantasy novels for children by C.S. Lewis. 

 It might be classic type of fantasy novel nowadays. 

 I feel it is old-fashion so it is British for me.

Lewis was Tolkien 's friend although when Tolkien read a draft of 'Narnia' he was severely critical. 

However, 'Narnia' has been accepted by many readers and it made Lewis well known. 

 Nowadays it became films. 

I think they have not yet finished the series.

I read "The Chronicles of Narnia" long long time ago, I really enjoyed them. 

However, I read 'The Last Battle', I was disappointed. 

 And still now I could not like it.
B. ルイスとル ・グイン / Lewis and Le Guin

物語は全く違いますが、
'ナルニア'と『ゲド戦記 』 (アーシュラ ・ル ・グイン作) 
は似ている点があります。

 私が同じような点でがっかりしたともいえます。

 それは双方とも作者が作者が作り上げたファンタジー世界を破壊してしまうところにあり、その破壊行為は作者自身の人生の影響が直接的に働いたことによると私は思っています。

 読者としては悲しいですよね。

『ゲド戦記 』は 下記の6巻ですが、3巻目までの『さいはての島へ』までが、『私の ”ゲド戦記”』 です。

1.影との戦い
2.こわれた腕輪
3.さいはての島へ
4.帰還 - ゲド戦記最後の書
5.アースシーの風
6.ドランゴンフライ(旧題：ゲド戦記外伝)

ルイスとル ・グインは彼らの素晴らしい世界を壊してしまいました。

 読者である私達は何もできません。

 けれども物語全てがだめになったのではなく、素晴らしい点も多々あるのです。だからこそ、私はその部分が大好きです。

そしてたくさんの子供達からも人々からも、今もって愛されているのだと思います。

Lewis and Le Guin

 I think 'Narnia' and "Earthsea"(Ursula K. Le Guin) series have similar points, although the stories are very different.

The points are that the novelists broken the worlds of the series, 
I think because the lives of novelists effected their work strongly. 

 It is very sad for readers, isn't it?

"Earthsea"series are below 1~6, however, for me, the series are until '3. The farthest'.

6. Tales from Earthsea (2001) (I do not read it and I would not read it)

The novelists destroyed their beautiful world, I or we cannot help it, 
we are just readers. 

 Even thought the all stories are not poor, they have many very good parts, so I do love so much the parts of the series and I think they still now are loved by many children and people.

2) 個展のため お休みします
    Pause from My Blog ; My Exhibition

 2012年 - 個展

来年、2012年4月23~28日に東京のピンポイントギャラリーで個展をします。

 その準備に集中するためにしばらくブログをお休みします。

個展前には再開したいと思います。

実際このお知らせをするのがおそすぎました。

 すみません。

My Exhibition in 2012
I will have my exhibition in Pinpoint Gallery in Tokyo : 23rd to 28th of April 2012.

I would concentrate for my work of the exhibition so I will pause from writing my blog.
I think it will restart before my exhibition. 

 See you by then!
