環境も建物も素敵な美術館です。

The museum is a wonderful building in a beautiful environment.

一見、回廊のような入り口ですが……

階段をあがりきると、スコーンとした空間が広がっています。回廊はこの空間の一部だったのですね。

It looks like a corridor……

We climbed the steps up to the top, then we saw this pleasant space. Now we knew the corridor is a part of the pleasant space.

その空間の中に野外作品が展示されています。偶然、向こう側に女性のグループが休憩しているのを見つけて、野外展示作品と結びつけて写真を撮りました。

Sculptures are displaed in the space. By chance, I found some women sat down on a settee and then I had an idea, the women relate to the sculpture. So I tried to take the photograph.

展覧会を見え終えて外に出ると、リゾートホテルのような空間がありました。

We finished the exhibition and we went out from a different entrance. I felt as if we are in a resort hotel, because there are a beautiful views.

美術館の敷地は、古代(6~7世紀)の塩田だったそうです。庭を散歩中にその説明書を見つけました。

While we walked along the footpath around the museum I found an explanation about the land, 1300 years ago there were salt pans here.

散歩道や庭にはいくつかの野外展示物があります。

Some sculptures are dotted around the garden.

散歩道をぐるりと廻ると美術館の違う入り口に出ます。

We finished the path as well as saw a different entrance.

もしかしたらこちらが本玄関なのでしょうか？

This might be the main entrance?

美術館のレストランには葉山ビールがあります。実は鎌倉ビールや横浜ビールと同じ会社がつくっています。でも少なくともラベルのデザインは葉山らしいさを大切にしています。そしてここから葉山の海を見ながら飲めば、完璧葉山ビールなのです。

The restaurant in the museum has Hayama beer. In fact Kamakura beer, Yokohama beer and Hayama beer all come from the same Brewery. We are a little bit surprised, although Hayama's label shows Hayama very carefully. When we drink the beer in the restaurant, as well as look at Hayama's sea, it is definitely "Hayama beer", isn't it?
