前回の個展 (2019) 終了後、今日、初めてリトグラフ工房へ行きました。
今夏、一緒にすまれていた先生のお義母さまが亡くなられていたことを知っていました。
お悔やみの気持ちを花で伝えようと、由比ガ浜の花屋・リリーズ (Rirys) へ行きました。
Rirysは、バス通りに面しているので、お店の看板は知っていました。
魅力的看板で、心に残っていました。
また、鎌倉の友人Hさんから、'オススメ' をされてもいました。
初めて店内に入りました。
白いブーケをお願いしたら、素敵に仕上げてくれました。

White Bouquet
After my last exhibition (2019), I went to the lithograph studio for the first time today.
I knew that my teacher's mother-in-law, who had lived with him, had died this summer.
I went to the flower shop Rirys in Yuigahama, Kamakura to convey my condolences with flowers.
Rirys faces the bus street, so I knew the shop sign.
It was a charming sign and was memorable for me.
Also, my friend H in Kamakura had recommended this shop.
I entered the shop for the first time.
When I asked for a white bouquet, she made a lovely bouquet.

2021年4月に予定していた個展をコロナのために2022年4月に延期しました。
延期した個展の日程が決まりました。
4月9日(土:上弦の月) 初日~
{12日(火) "Galerie 412" 48周年}
17日(日: 満月) 最終日
会場は前回同様、 "Galerie 412" です。
私の個展開催中に "Galerie 412"は48周年を迎えますが、個展は通常通りです。
ご都合が許せば、遊びにいらしてください。
My Exhibition in 2022
My Exhibition scheduled for April 2021 had been postponed to April 2022 by Corona.
The dates of the April 2022 exhibition have been decided.
9th of April (Sat: First quarter moon) First day ~

17th (Sun: Full Moon) Last day
The venue is "Galerie 412" as before.
"Galerie 412" will celebrate their 48th Anniversary during my Exhibition, but the Exhibition is as usual.

2) 2年半ぶり
First Time in Two and a Half Years
A. 住宅街 / Residential Area
大町のリトグラフ工房へ行く道は年ぶりに歩きました。
いくつかのルートがあり、今日は主に裏道を選びました。
ほとんどが住宅街の中なので、あまり変化しているようには感じませんでした。
それでもいくつか新しい建物やお店ができていたり、またはなくなっていたりしました。

Residential Area
I walked along the roads to the lithograph studio in Ōmachi, Kamakura for the first time in two and a half years.
There are several routes, and today I mainly chose the back roads.
Most of the roads are in a residential area, so I didn't feel it was changing much.
Still, some new buildings and shops were built or have gone.
B. 橋からの景色 / Views from Bridge

| 下川橋 下川橋は滑川 (ナメリガワ) に架かっています。 Shimokawa Bridge Shimokawa Bridge spans Nameri River.  多くの鎌倉の川が暗渠になっていますが、 滑川は川として存在しています。 川は古くから境界を示します。 滑川もここでは小町 (手前) と大町を分ける 境界になっています。 Many rivers in Kamakura are culverts, but the Nameri River exists as a river. Rivers have long marked boundaries. Nameri River is also the boundary that separates Komachi (this side) and Ōmachi. |

| 上流方面 下川橋から滑川を見るのが好きです。 Looking Upstream I like to see Nameri River from Shimokawa Bridge.  下流方面 時々、ここでサギを見ました。 今日はいませんでしたが、ここからの景色はやっぱり好きです。 Looking Downstream Sometimes I have seen herons here. There were none here today, but I still like the view from here. |
C. 大町 / Ōmachi

路地 兼 参道 ぼたもち寺 (牡丹餅寺)・常栄寺 (ジョウエイジ )前へ 続く道です。 この路地は、古くは常栄寺の参道であったのではないかと 勝手に思っています。 Alley as well as Approach It is an alley leading to the front of Botamochi Temple or Joei-ji Temple. I think that this alley used to be the approach to Joei-ji Temple. |

| ぼたもち寺・常栄寺 ぼたもち寺は愛称なのに、正門にその名が掲げられていることに 最初見た時は驚きました。 その愛称は、このお寺にまつわる伝説に由来してます。 Botamochi Temple or Joeiji Temple Though Botamochi Temple is a nickname, the nickname is on a board on the main gate. I was surprised when I first saw it. Botamochi is a Japanese sweet made with glutinous rice and sweet azuki paste (red bean paste). The nickname comes from the legend of this temple, see below. |
伝説
鎌倉時代、ここを守護していた日蓮宗の尼僧 (妙常日栄/ ミョウジョウニチエイ) が、龍ノ口刑場 (タツノクチケイジョウ / 現・龍口寺 /リュウコウジ) に護送されていく日蓮 (1222 - 1282)に「胡麻入りのぼた餅」を捧げました。
刑の執行中に江ノ島方より光の玉がやってきて、光の衝撃で振り下ろした刀が折れ、日蓮は刑を免れました。
このことから｢御首継ぎに胡麻の餅｣として有名になりました。
Legend
In the Kamakura Period, a nun of Nichiren Shū (School of Nichiren) was a guardian of this place and she dedicated 'Botamochi with sesame' to a monk, Nichiren (1222 - 1282), who was being escorted to Tatsunokuchi (currently Ryuko-ji Temple) for execution.
Nichiren wrote "Risshō Ankokuron" (blaming various denominations) and submitted it to the Kamakura Shogunate, which was regarded as a "political criticism" and he was scheduled to be decapitated.
During the execution of the sentence, a ball of light came from Enoshima Island, and the sword that was swung down by the impact of the light broke, and Nichiren escaped the sentence.
For this reason, it became famous as "Botamochi with sesame for saving life".
 ある路地 路地が好きです。 父は生前、路地を好んで歩きました。 母は 「お父さんは変なところばかり歩く」 と言って嫌がっていました。 私は路地を彼の後を歩くのは、 小さな冒険を経験するようで好きでした。 まあ、時として、 「えっ、ここを！」 と私が思う路地 (と呼ぶのかどうかさえ？）も 歩いていましたので、母が嫌がるのも理解はできました。 私は日本では路地が好きで歩きますが、 海外の知らない路地は避けています。 An Alley I like alleys. My father loved to walk in the alleys during his lifetime. My mother said "Your father often walks in strange places." and hated his liking for alleys. I liked walking in the alleys following after him as it seemed like a small adventure. Well, sometimes, I felt 'What! here?!' he walked an alley (even if I called there an alley?), so I could understand that my mother hated it. I like alleys in Japan and use them, but overseas I avoid alleys which I don't know. |

| 八雲神社 全国に多数存在する八雲神社の1つです。 この八雲神社は英国在住中から知っていました。 鎌倉をリサーチした際に、この神社の裏が 衹園山(ギオンヤマ)ハイキングコースの起点で あると知ったのです。 リトグラフ工房へ通う際にしばしば前を通りお辞儀はしますが 一度も境内へ入ったことがありません。 Yakumo Shrine It is one of the many Yakumo shrines in Japan. I've known this Yakumo Shrine since I lived in Britain. When I researched Kamakura, I found that behind this shrine was the starting point of the Gion Mountain Hiking Trail. When I go to the lithograph studio, I often bow when passing in front of the Shrine, but I have never entered the precincts.  |
大町には有名なお寺や神社が複数あります。
それらの近くをリトグラフ工房への往復で、何回も通ってはいても、その敷地に足を踏み入れることがほとんどありません。
いつか...と思いつつもまだ実現できないのです。
けれども、いつか！と思っています。
There are several famous temples and shrines in Ōmachi.
I walk to and from the lithograph studio near them, and even though I pass many times, I rarely set foot on their sites.
I think one day ... but I haven't realized it yet.
However, someday! I think.

| 注連縄 ここの注連縄 (シメナワ) を見ると出雲大社を思い出します。 Shimenawa Looking at the Shimenawa here reminds me of Izumo Taisha Shrine. Shimenawa are lengths of laid rice straw or hemp rope used for ritual purification in the Shinto religion. |

| 大町会館 大町会館は八雲神社の隣です。 この会館は自治会・町内会会員以外でも利用できます。 NHKのドラマ "ツバキ文具店〜鎌倉代書屋物語〜" で使用されていたと記憶しています。 Ōmachi Hall Ōmachi Hall is next to the Yakumo Shrine. This hall can be used by non-members of residents associations and neighbourhood associations. I remember it was used in the NHK drama, |

| 大町上空 鎌倉に住み始めてから頻繁にヘリコプターや飛行機を見ます。 この細身のヘリコプターは初めて見ます(認識します）。 i-phoneで撮影したので詳細が不明です。 とにかく帰宅後調べてみました。 AH-1Sコブラと推測。 Over Ōmachi I often see helicopters and planes since I started living in Kamakura. This is the first time I've seen (recognized) this slender helicopter. The details are unknown because I photographed with my i-phone. Anyway, I checked it after I got home. Presumed to be Bell AH-1 Cobra.  AH-1Sコブラ 下記、Wikiより "AH-1 コブラ（AH-1 Cobra）は、 ベル・ヘリコプター・テキストロン（ベル・エアクラフト）社が 開発した、世界初の攻撃ヘリコプターである。" 輸送や救助より攻撃性を優先させるタイプなんですね。 日本では珍しいはずです。 航空自衛隊でなく、陸上自衛隊だけが保持していることも 全く、日本らしい現象に感じます。 Bell AH-1 Cobra According to Wiki, "The Bell AH-1 Cobra is a single-engined attack helicopter developed and manufactured by the American rotorcraft manufacturer Bell Helicopter." It's a type that prioritizes aggression over transportation and rescue, isn't it? It should be rare in Japan. The fact that they are held only by the Ground Self-Defense Force, not the Air Self-Defense Force, feels like a Japanese phenomenon |

| ブラシノキ 七里ヶ浜住宅街では時々ブラシノキを見ます。 大町では初めて見ました(気がつきました)。 Bottlebrushes In Shirigahama residential area, I sometimes see Bottlebrushes (Callistemon). I saw (noticed) it for the first time in Ōmachi. |

| もみじ 逆川 (サカサガワ) にかかる大きな'もみじの木'、 紅葉の時期は綺麗であったことを 思い出しました。 Momiji : Maple Tree I remembered that the big 'Maple Tree' over Sakasa River and the time of autumn leaves were beautiful. |

| 立派な門 この中に複数の賃貸の家があります。 今の家に決めるまでにこの物件も内見しました。 素敵な日本庭園とリトグラフ工房に非常に近いことが 私にとって魅力でした。 Splendid Gate There are several rental houses behind. I had a look at one of these properties before deciding on my current house. It was charming to me that the lovely Japanese garden was there and is very close to the lithograph studio. |

| ベンチ このベンチ近くには、 '釈迦堂口切通し' (大町釈迦堂口遺跡) があります 有名な鎌倉七口 (鎌倉七切通し)には入っていません。 ですが、私は切通しの中で '釈迦堂口切通し' が一番好きです。 このベンチは 、'釈迦堂口切通し'を超えてきた人への 配慮なのかしらと思っています。 ただ、現在は、公的には '釈迦堂口切通し' は通行止めです。  Bench Near this bench is 'Shakado Pass' (Omachi Shakado Ruins). It is not included in the famous Kamakura's Seven Entrances. However, I like 'Shakado Entrance' the most of the Passes : the Entrances : Kiridoushi. I wonder if this bench is a consideration for those who have come through the 'Shakado Pass''. However, at present, officially, 'Shakado Pass' is closed. |

| リトグラフ工房へ なかなか素敵な路地です。 この先にリトグラフ工房があります。 ここで、偶然にも買い物帰りの先生の奥様に会いました。 白いブーケは彼女へのものだったので何かしら 不思議な縁を感じました。 玄関へ入ってすぐお渡ししました。 To Lithograph Studio It's a quite lovely alley. There is the lithograph studio ahead. Here, I happened to meet the wife of my Lithograph teacher on her way home from shopping. I felt something mysterious because the White Bouquet was for her. I handed it to her as soon as we entered the entrance. |
