表参道ヒルズは、現地にあった同潤会青山アパートの
再開発プロジェクトとして2006年に開業しました。
設計: 安藤 忠雄 (アンドウ タダオ/ 1941~)
Omotesandō Hills ・Dojunkan : Dojun Wing Side Omotesandō Hills was opened in 2006 as a redevelopment project for the Dojunkai Aoyama Apartments in the same area. 同潤会アパート一棟を新たに再現し、同潤館と名づけ 店舗利用しています。
A new Dojunkai apartment building has been recreated
and is used for shops, named Dojunkan : Dojun Wing. |
7) 2020年4月 個展
My Exhibition in April 2022
'ギャルリー412' のChizukaさんと直接お会いして打ち合わせをしました。
もっと早くこの機会を持ちたかったのですが、コロナのためにできませんでした。
ギャラリーのスペースを感じながらの打ち合わせは、会場の空間づくりのイメージができます。
当初の個展初日は2022年4月9日(土)でしたがChizukaさんのアドバイスで8日(金)に変更しました。

My Exhibition in April 2022
I will have my exhibition in Galerie412 in Omotesandō Hills next April.
We met directly with Chizuka of Galerie412 and had a consultation.
I wanted to have this opportunity earlier, but I couldn't because of Corona.
Meetings while feeling the space of the gallery can give me an image of creating for the space of the venue.
Originally the first day of my exhibition was to be Saturday, 9th of April, 2022, but it was changed to Friday, 8th with the advice of Chizuka.

木枠とアクリル
表参道ヒルズの前にスパイラルホールへ寄りました。
そこで、木枠とアクリルの額を見て、綺麗だな〜と思いました。
同じ額がここにもあり、少し驚きました。
たまたまこの企画をされた学芸員の方がいらしたので、
スパイラルホールで見たことを伝えました。
「スパイラルホールで買いました」
とのお返事。
額の裏を見せてくれて展示の仕方を教わりました。
Wooden Frame and Acrylic I went to Spiral Hall before going to Omotesandō Hills. There I had looked at a wooden frame around acrylic sheets and thought it was beautiful. I was a little surprised that the same type of frame was here. It happened that a curator who had planned this project came along, so I told her that I had seen one in the Spiral Hall. She replied that "I bought it in Spiral all". She showed me the back of the frame and taught me how to exhibit. |
実はこの展覧会は、本館・地下で開催中の
”TECHNICOLOR'S 吉野石膏コレクション meets コンテンポラリー・アート vol.1"
と関連していました。
ギャラリーでは、15点展示され、それらは全て、吉野石膏コレクションです。
Actually, this exhibition was related to "TECHNICOLOR'S Yoshino Gypsum Collection meets Contemporary Art vol.1" being held in the basement of the main building.
In the gallery, 15 items were exhibited, all of which are from the Yoshino Gypsum Collection.
9) 彷彿される / Reminiscent
A. 本 / Books
展覧会の '中世のヨーロッパで制作された手書きの本、印刷術が発明されて間もない頃の活字本' は、本の制作者の思いが残っているように感じます。
記載されている内容の他に、特別な何か、特別な力があるのではないかと思わせます。
このような本を利用して魔術を施す魔術師の話、
乾石智子 (イヌイ トモコ / ? ~) さんの〈オーリエラントの魔道師〉 シリーズを思い出しました。
乾石さんもこのような本から、物語の発想を得たと確信します。
私は、現在シリーズの中の、
『魔道師の月』/ SORCERER'S MOON (2012 / 東京創元社 )
の感想をまとめている最中です。

なので、会場で物語の本に対する記載がより具体的に感じられました。
また、手書きの本と物語の組み合わせでは、
が思い起こされます。
修道士が回廊で本を制作するシーンは印象に強く残っています。
修道院の建物で私が最も好きなのは回廊で、その理由が本の制作と関連しているからです。
展覧会では英国で訪ねた修道院、修道院の遺跡を思い巡らしていました。
会場では思考や記憶があちこちへ飛び、忙しい私でした(笑)。

物語には、本を使用した魔術が出てきます。

Books
In the exhibition, I felt that "Handwritten books made in medieval Europe,
printed books shortly after the invention of printing" the book maker's spirits remain.
It makes me think that the books have something special or special power other than the contents.
I remembered <AURIELANT SORCERERS> series by Tomoko Inui (? ~), the stories about sorcerers who use such books to perform magic.
I am sure Inuishi got the idea of the story from such a book.
Currently I have been putting my thoughts together of
"SCRIBE OF SORCERY" (2011 / Tokyo Sogensha) and
"SORCERER'S MOON" (2012 / Tokyo Sogensha).

In the venue, I felt the description of the story book more concretely.
The combination of handwritten books and stories reminds me of
The scene where a monk makes a book in the corridor is very impressive.
My favourite part of a monastery building is the corridor, because it is related to the making books.
In this exhibition, I was pondering the monasteries I had visited in Britain and the ruins of the monasteries.
At the venue, my thoughts and memories flew here and there, and
I was busy (Laugh).
B. プランタン・モレトゥス 印刷博物館
Plantin-Moretus Museum
プランタン・モレトゥス 印刷博物館訪問については下記。
プランタン・ファミリーは、16世紀後半から19世紀前半まで、アントワープで大規模に印刷・出版事業を手掛けました。
工房は博物館になり、現在その博物館は世界遺産に登録されています。
本好きな方にはぜひ訪ねて欲しい博物館です。
本に馴染みのないRでも、とても興味深く博物館の展示を見ていました。
この展覧会はプランタン・モレトゥス 印刷博物館から一室、空間移動してきたように感じました。

Plantin-Moretus Museum
About the Plantin-Moretus Museum visiting, below.
The Plantin family was involved in a large-scale printing and publishing business in Antwerp from the late 16th century to the early 19th century.
The studio has become a museum and is now a World Heritage Site.
If you like books, this is the Museum that you should definitely visit.
Even R, who is not familiar with books, was very interested in seeing the museum exhibits.
I felt that this exhibition had been transported from a room in the "Plantin-Moretus Museum".
C. 鎖付図書 / Chained Library
会場には、ミニチュアですが鎖付きの本が展示されていました。
ヘレフォード図については下記。
当時の本は現在よりもずっと貴重で高価であったので、鎖が盗難防止のために備え付けられていたのです。
会場で出会った学芸員の方にヘレフォード大聖堂の鎖付図書が興味深かったことを力説したつもりでしたが、彼女にはあまり伝わらなかった印象を持ちました。
私の語彙のなさを痛感しました。
いつか、彼女がヘレフォード大聖堂を訪ねてくれるといいな〜と願っています。

Chained Library
A miniature of a book with chains was on display in the venue.
The purpose of my visit to Hereford Cathedral was to see Hereford Mappa Mundi, but I found a valuable chained library on the spot. About the Hereford Mappa Mundi.
Books at the time were much more valuable and expensive than they are today, so chains were provided to prevent theft.
I intended to emphasize to the curator, who I met in the venue, just how interesting the chained library of Hereford Cathedral is, but I had the impression that I could not tell her well enough.
I feel my lack of vocabulary keenly.
I hope she will visit Hereford Cathedral someday.
D. ロセッティ / Rossetti
その時私は、その 'ロセッティ'は、私が知っている 'ロセッティ'なのか判断がつきませんでした。
彼女とRの会話を聞いて、私の知っている 'ロセッティ' であると分かりました。
会場にはウィリアム・モリス (1834 -1896) の本もあり、モリスの妻ジェーン・モリス (1839 -1914)とダンテ・ゲイブリエル・ロセッティとの恋愛関係も思い出しました。
彼らの関係を2019年に訪ねた英国のウィティック館 (ヤカタ) : ★ で知りました。

RossettiThe curator introduced us to a page where the illustrations by Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
At that time, I couldn't tell if the 'Rossetti' was the 'Rossetti' I know.
I heard R's conversation with the curator and found out that it was the 'Rossetti', who I know.
I think Rossetti's most famous work is "Proserpine".
There was also a book by William Morris (1834 - 1896) in the venue, which reminded me of the love relationship between Morris' wife Jane Morris (1839 - 1914) and Dante Gabriel Rossetti.

中心部から6つの空間が伸びてゆく構成でした。
それに気がついた時、面白く新鮮なアイディアに感じました。
It was a layout in which six spaces extended
from the centre.
When I realized it, I found it to be an interesting and fresh idea.

所蔵される名画と吉野石膏美術振興財団が支援する若手作家6名の
作品との 'コラボレーション' 展示がされています。
展覧会側が使用していた 'コラボレーション' という言葉が、私には違和感がありました。
組み合わせの意外性はあったものの、何かそこには反発し合うものが大きく、意外な組み合わせから新たな何かを創造する展示には感じられませんでした。
私には、'コントラスト' という言葉の方がしっくりきました。
それは私の無知さ、教養のなさに原因するかもしれません。
コロナ禍になって、初めての有料展覧会で良い刺激を受けました。
企画者の思いとは違った印象を持った鑑賞ではありましたが、私になりに非常に楽しめました。

There is a 'collaboration' exhibition between the masterpieces in the collection and the works of six young artists supported by the Yoshino Gypsum Art Promotion Foundation.
The word 'collaboration', used by the exhibition staff gave me feeling of wrongness.
Although the combination was surprising there, I felt a lot of alienation there, and I didn't feel that the exhibition created something new from the unexpected combination.
The word 'contrast' is more like it for me.
It may be due to my ignorance, or lack of education.
Since coronavirus crisis, it was my first ticketed exhibition visit, so
I had a great stimulus.
My appreciation was different from the planner's thoughts, but
I enjoyed the exhibition very much.
C. 100 twinkle sounds
～未来へのファンファーレ～
~ Fanfare for the future ~
ビル内の吹き抜けの空間に大きなクリスマスツリーが設置されていました。
クリスマスディスプレイの枠を超え、1つの展覧会、もしくはイベントのようなクリスマスツリーでした。
"ツリーの装飾には、100本のリユース管楽器、雲の様な形状の光るボールの他、メタリックのボールオーナメントやリボンのオーナメント、LEDイルミネーションなどを使用。
20分ごとに行われる音と光の特別演出（約2分間）では、クリスマスソングにあわせ、雲の様な形状の光るボールやLEDイルミネーションが明滅し、吹抜け空間全体が光り輝きます。"
大きなライトがついたり消えたりするのを眺めて帰途につきました。
100 twinkle sounds ~ Fanfare for the future ~
A large Christmas tree was set up in the atrium space inside the building.
More than just a Christmas decoration, it was a Christmas tree like an exhibition or event.
"The tree is decorated with 100 reused wind instruments, cloud-shaped glowing balls, metallic ball ornaments, ribbon ornaments, and LED illuminations.
In the special sound and light production (about 2 minutes) that takes place every 20 minutes, the cloud-shaped glowing balls and LED illuminations blink in time with the Christmas song, and the entire atrium space shines."
After looking at the big lights turn on and off, we went home.
