B. アカンサス / Acanthus
立派なアカンサスがヴューポイントの目の前で咲いていました。
ジャングルの雰囲気がより強まります。

| 鎌倉山は住宅街ですが、ちょっと歩くとこんな景色になるので、 鎌倉山は、山なんですね〜。 Kamakurayama is a residential area, but if I walk a little, I could see this kind of scenery, so Kamakurayama is a mountain. |
A magnificent Acanthus was blooming in front of the view point.
The atmosphere of the jungle becomes stronger.

| 私達の前に女性二人組がアカンサスを撮影していました。 枝でアカンサスの前の植物を倒して、 植物の全形の撮影を試みていました。 そうまでして？と疑問に思いましたが、 自動的にその蛮行の恩恵にあづかってしまいました。 Acanthus A duo of women was photographing Acanthus before us. They tried to take pictures of the whole form of Acanthus by damaging the plant in front of the Acanthus with a stick. Did you have to do that? I was wondering, but I automatically received the benefits of their barbarity. |

C. 謎のトンネル / Mysterious Tunnel

謎のトンネル このトンネル前を通る度に、好奇心が沸きます。 中を覗くことが怖くてできないのに、 撮影は、毎回してしまいます。 Mysterious Tunnel Every time I pass in front of this tunnel, I get curious. I'm afraid to look inside, but I photograph every time. |
5) 脇道へ / To Side Road
A. 鎌倉山神社前
In Front of Kamakurayama Shrine
鎌倉山神社は、メインの車道から脇道へ入ります。
この脇道には、扇湖山荘 (センコサンソウ)というお屋敷 : ★があります。
鎌倉神社前では、新しい建物の建築準備 (下の画像) が始まっています。
In front of Kamakurayama Shrine
Kamakurayama Shrine is on a side road from the main road.
On this side road, there is a mansion called Senko Villa : ★ only in Japanese, though you can see photographs of the Villa.
In front of Kamakurayama Shrine, preparations for building a new building (pictures below) have begun.

| 脇道から、さらに別れる道 私道になり、玄関アプローチにもなるかと思います。 春から整備が始まり、大きな家が建つのかと思っていました。 A road that runsdown from the side road. I think it will be a private road and an entrance approach. Construction started in spring, and I was wondering if a big house would be built.  景色は良い場所です。 The site has a good view. |

| 駐車場用地らしい場所がかなり広いのでもしかしたら 何かの施設なのかもしれないと想像しています。 Lower Area I guess that lower area which seems to be a carpark is quite large, so it may be some kind of facility. |
B. 鎌倉山神社横

| 扇湖山荘の門前 : ★ / ★ 〒248-0031 神奈川県鎌倉市鎌倉山1丁目21-1 鎌倉山神社の隣りは、扇湖山荘です。 年に何回か、一般公開されていましたが、 現在はコロナのために一般公開はありません。 庭の地図 : ★ / 伏見邸 : ★ In Front of Gate of Senko Villa 1-21-1 Kamakurayama, Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture 248-0031 Next to Kamakurayama Shrine is the Senko Villa. It was open to the public a few days a year, but is not currently open to the public because of Corona. You can see inside and gardens :  門の上 以前きた時よりも、手が入っているように感じます。 木々が剪定され、'隙間'の部分が多くなったと思います。 Above Gate It feels more looked after than when I came before. I think the trees have been pruned and there are more'gap'parts. |
以前来たときは、扇湖山荘を通り過ぎ、極楽寺方面へ向かいましたが、ここで今日は引き返しました。
When we came last time, we passed Senko Villa and headed towards Gokurakuji, but today we turned back here.

スイカズラ / Japanese Honeysuckle ピンク 日本では、スイカズラの白い花と黄色い花は見かけますが、 ピンクは珍しい... 英国のスイカズラは、ピンクやオレンジのイメージが 私には強いです。 Pink I see white and yellow flowers of Japanese Honeysuckle, but pink is rare ... The image of pink and orange honeysuckles in Britain is strong for me. |
6) 鎌倉山神社 / Kamakurayama Shrine

| 鎌倉山神社入口 見過ごしてしまいそうな入口です。 鎌倉山神社は、鎌倉山の守神が祀られています。 Entrance of Kamakurayama Shrine It is an entrance that you might miss. Kamakurayama Shrine enshrines the guardian deity of Kamakurayama. |

| 階段脇に段々の花壇があります。 今まで気がつきませんでした。 There are stepped flower beds beside the steps. I didn't notice them until now. |

祠 小さくても放置されていず、気持ちの良い空間があります。 いつ来ても手入れがされているのを感じます。 きっと住人のボランティアの方々が、 いつも世話をしてくれているのです。 ありがとうございます。 Hokota : Small Shrine Even if it is small, it is not left unattended and there is a comfortable space. I feel that it is in good condition whenever I come. I'm sure the volunteers of the residents always take care of this shrine. Thank you very much! |
神社へ訪れたとき、Rはお参りをしたり、しなかったりです。
ですが、流石にこの神社は私達の守神なので、彼も真摯な態度で
お参りをします。
When visiting a shrine, R may or may not worship
However, since this shrine is our guardian deity, he worshiped seriously.
小さい敷地の中に数種の紫陽花が植えられています。
Several kinds of hydrangeas are planted in a small site.

7) 下り / Downhill
鎌倉山から七里ヶ浜住宅街へ降りてゆく主要道路(片道の狭い道ですが）に戻りました。
ここからはずっと降り道で、西友へ向かいます。
We returned to the main road (although it is a narrow one-way road) that descends from Kamakurayama to the Shichirigahama residential area.
From here, we took the road down to Seiyu supermarket.

| マツバボタン 前回も見たマツバボタンは今もって元気のようです。 こんなに広くマツバボタンが育っているところを他では見ません。 Rose Moss The Rose Moss I saw last time still seems to be fine. I have never seen a place where Rose Moss is growing so widely. |

| 鎌倉市の恥 鎌倉市が業者に騙されて、複数の住宅地として 開発が進んでいます。 Shame on Kamakura City Kamakura City has been deceived by a contractor and this site is being developed for multiple residencies. |

| 何の木なのかわかりませんが3本、元気に花を咲かせています。 I don't know which kind of tree they are, but three of them are in full bloom.  |

| 見事に咲く百合 花壇で、百合が豪華に咲いています。 Beautifully Blooming Lilies Lilies are in full bloom in the flowerbed. |
