2019年6月フルーツ / Fruits in June, 2019

びわ
6月3日にお隣のKさんから、彼女の庭にあるびわ(枇杷) の木の実をいただきました。
びわはタネが大きくて、食べるたびに、ちょっとがっかりしますが(笑)、
このびわは、大きさは売られているものよりも小さいですが、
とても甘くて、タネが小さくて、売られているものよりも満足感がよりあります。
ごちそうさまでした、Kさん。

 Loquat : Biwa

On 3rd of June, K next-door to us, gave me the fruit : Biwa of a loquat tree in her garden.

 Loquat is a big seed and I am a little disappointed every time I eat it (Laugh),

but these Loquat are smaller in size than commercial ones,

though they are very sweet and the seeds are smaller,

so I am more satisfied with hers than commercial ones.

国産さくらんぼ
子供の時から、さくらんぼというと、こういう形と色を思います。
最近は輸入ものもあり、それらは実が大きく、色も濃く、甘いので
食べ応えがあります。
ですが、国産さくらんぼの愛らしさは最強ですね(笑)。
器は私の作品です。

Domestic Cherries

Since I was a child, I think of such shapes and colours as cherries.

Recently, some are imported, and they are large in size, darker in colour and sweet,

so they are more filling.

However, the loveliness of domestic cherries is greater (Laugh).

The bowl is my work.
