シュテファン大聖堂から、高級食料雑貨商の
'ユリウス・マインル・アム・グラーベン' / 'Julius Meinl am Graben'
へ歩きました。
お目当は、珈琲豆です。
'ウィーン・コーヒー・ハウス文化' / 'Vienna Coffee House Culture'は、
2011年に無形文化遺産としてユネスコに登録されました。
ウィーン・コーヒー・ハウス (カフェ)は、次のように説明され、ユネスコ登録されています。
"その場所は、珈琲代だけで、時間と空間があなたのものになります。"

We walked to 'Julius Meinl am Graben' from St. Stephen's Cathedral.
'Julius Meinl am Graben' is a high level grocer or delicatessen.
My purpose was to buy some coffee beans.
In 2011, the "Viennese Coffee House Culture" was listed as "Intangible Cultural Heritage" in the Austrian inventory of the "National Agency for the Intangible Cultural Heritage", a part of UNESCO.
According to Wiki about 'Viennese Coffee House',
"The Viennese coffee house is described in this inventory as a place 'where time and space are consumed, but only the coffee is found on the bill'."

'紀ノ国屋' ？
店内が撮影できる雰囲気でなかったので、しませんでした。
しても良かったとは思いますが、憚られました。
珈琲のお土産は
'ユリウス・マインルで買いたかった！実現！
小さなスーツケースしかなく、少しの量しか買えず、
それもすべて友人達へのお土産になったので、
私達は味みができませんでした。
次回は是非、自分達のために！
本当に、この旅行では次回は是非！と思うことがたくさんありました。

& Mason'?
The
atmosphere made me feel I could not photograph.
Maybe
I could photograph there, although I hesitated.
I
wanted to buy souvenir coffee in 'Julius Meinl'. I made it.
However,
we used easy-Jet, a low-cost
airline,
so
we just had small suit-cases, we could only buy a small quantity and also
all of them became souvenirs for our friends, so we cannot taste.
Next time should be for us!
In
this trip, I felt next time many times.

1786年創業。ここにも寄ってみたかったです。
DEMEL~~!
DEMEL is
close to 'Julius Meinl'.
They
use a Double-headed
Eagle in their Lo-go mark which
is
like the coat of arms of House
of Habsburg.
DEMEL
was founded in 1786. I would visit here next time, too.

| この彫刻について何もわかりません。 I do not about these sculptures.  兵士も馬も戦いに疲れたのでしょうか？ 兵士は馬を自由にするつもりで轡 (クツワ) を取り除きますが、 馬は自由を感じて走り出す元気もない.... それとも、馬は兵士が立ち上がるのを辛抱強く待っているのでしょうか？ Are a soldier and a horse both tired by a war? The soldier might let the horse free, so he took out the bit, however, the horse does not have energy to run away... Or the horse has been patient and is waiting for the soldier to stand up? |

Ringstraße.
The
building is Greek
Revival style and was completed in 1883.
I
just photographed it from the street, so I did not look at it
carefully.

ホテル近くにあるスーパーマーケットは、毎日、何かしら、買いに行きました。
We went to a supermarket which is close to our hotel every day and bought something.

| チーズはたくさんあり、美味しそうでしたが、 食べるチャンスがありませんでした。 They have a lot of cheeses and they look delicious, although we did not have a chance for eating any. |
