アッシュダウンの森 / Ashdown Forest  は、プーさんの森のとして知られています。

ここには、'プー棒投げ橋 'があります。

Ashdown Forest is known as Winnie-the-Pooh's Forest. 

Here is 'Poohsticks Bridge'.

Guide Notes are sold by 'Pooh Coner'

買う必要もないかとも思いましたが、ないよりはあった方がましかなと思い、また、思い出としても良いかと思い、案内紙(地図）を英語版も日本語版も車用も徒歩用も買いました。

I thought we did not need to buy them, although I later thought that it was better than nothing and they would become memories about here.

Then we bought all versions of the guide notes: for driving and walking, in English and in Japanese.

日本語版/ In Japanese

これは車を使用できる人に向けての案内
徒歩の人用もあります。
けれども、ここに乗っているマップは間違っています。
新しいルートはマップよりもシンプルになっています。
この事を告げにお店に行くと驚いたことに、
お店もこのことを知っていました。
商品として売っているにもかかわらず、修正もしていないし
手渡すときに注意もしてくれませんでした。
さらに、紙はレミネートで保護されていますが、
全ての紙にしわが入っています。
私達は比較的状態が良いものを選びました。
このお店の姿勢に疑問をもちます。
ちょっと残念な事でした。

英語版 / In English

This is for people who can use a car.
They have a similar one for walkers.
However, this map is wrong.
The new route is more simple than this map.
We went to the shop to let them know.
I was surprised that they knew it!
However, they do not repair map and 
they did not tell us when they sold them to us.
The paper is protected with laminate,
although all of them have been crinkled.
We chose relatively good ones.
I wonder at their attitude.
I was a little disappointed.

お話の設定になったところは数カ所ありますが、
私達は橋だけを訪ねました。

There are a few places where the Pooh's stories are set,
although we only visited 'Poohsticks Bridge'.

'森'といっても道は整備されていて、
ちょっと拍子抜け....

Even though they say 'Forest', the path is very tidy,
I felt a little discouraged....

Is this Eeyore's house?

たくさんのスティックを用意している家族
やる気満々なのが伝わってきます。

The family has a lot of sticks ready.
It shows their strong motivation.

プーの橋
道が整理されているせいか、駐車場からすぐに到着した印象でした。

Pooh Bridge 
My impression was that it was closer to the carpark than I had thought,
it might be because the way is so organized.

橋のそばの幹に誰かがこんな素敵なドアを作っています。
ドアの前に蜂蜜の瓶が！

Door to Pooh's House
Somebody made this lovely door in a tree trunk beside the bridge.
There was a honey jar in front of the door! 

プーの家のそばでピクニックをする家族
The family has a picnic beside Pooh's House.

橋を渡って進んでみました。
We went ahead after crossing the bridge.

 駐車場からの入り口と反対側の入り口
This entrance is opposite the one from the carpark.

左に進むとプーの橋へ行きます。
The left path is going to the bridge.

ちょっと暗いくらいが森の感じがしますね。
It feels like a forest and is a little dark, isn't t?

わんちゃんも彼の家族の子供達の棒投げに興味しんしん？

The dog seems to be interested in the stick of
 his (?) family's children?

たくさんの枝が....
There are many sticks....

さあ、帰りましょう！
Here we go (return) !

帰りはメインルートからちょっと外れた
この小道を選びました。

When we returned I selected this path which strayed 
from the main route.

 イーヨと似たような色をしています。
The colour is similar to Eeyore.
